This movie take me back to my childhood. Reminds me of what the holidays used to be like

A true family comedy at Christmas that goes all wrong, but in the end the most hilarious and funniest Christmas movie ever. This movie was a big hit in theatres back in 1989 and still endures today now available on Blu-Ray DVD just makes this movie even better and am truly happy that its been released as a Blu-Ray Steel book edition to truly enjoy it for generations to come.

One of my favorites during the season. Really reminds me of the American dream fading into the distance and how those beautiful holiday moments we've all been brainwashed into thinking that is expected out of us is nothing but smoke and mirrors. All darkness aside, a great movie for the holidays. Pretty decent mass produced packaging. Price is downright criminal for an old movie such as this, but when on sale they're easier to swallow.

This one is good for some laughs. It's nice to have it in the Christmas movie rotation.

Comedy of a bumbling father figure trying to make a Christmas memory for his family.

I love this movie. Watching a classic like this in HD, is like watching it for the first time. A great addition to the Holiday movie collection. If your looking for a holiday comedy to watch with the family*, I can’t recomend this movie enough. made in the 80’s. “for the family”, was a little different back then. Family=Ages 12+(PG-13). Partial nudity(side boob) PS: people are more confused now than, then. More options, less time to choose.

If you are reading this review by chance and have not heard of or seen this movie in the decades since release...then you have been missing the best thing next to family during the holidays. This movie is pretty much the reason for watching television during the time of year. Chevy Chase and crew nailed what it is like during the holidays and how family behaves. Non-stop laughs, even after almost 30 years since it's release. Buy it, and thank yourself for years to come.

Funniest Christmas movie of all time, enjoy another adventure with the Griswolds

its a fun movie laughing constantly at eddie everything about him is hilarious

Our entire family tries to get together at least once a year for either Thanksgiving or Christmas and when we do, we make it a point to watch this movie together. It never gets old, we all have our favorite parts and we all laugh so hard. I bought this movie to give to our daughter for her family, so that now she has her own copy. This way, no matter whose house we go to for the holidays, her house or one of the boys, no one has to remember to bring their copy. It's a family tradition!

In following the Griswolds, Christmas Vacation does not disappoint. Great movie.

One of my favorite movies around the holidays I always enjoy watching it.

I saw that this movie was on sale after Thanksgiving and I wanted to add it to my Christmas movie collection. The movie looks good on blu-ray and I like how the movie takes up the entire screen instead of cutting off the top and bottom. So many great lines are said in this movie and if you are looking at buying it, you must enjoy it as much as I do.

chevy chase as clark griswald loses his cool twice in this movie. those are some of my favorite scenes. once in the blowup that begins with him guzzling some eggnog. and then again when everyone tries to leave and bail out. kind of sums up that disappointment you have when the holidays, and life in general, just aren't going as you had hoped. amazing and awesome supporting cast to chevy chase in the lead role. and includes and incredibly annoying pubescent johnny galecki as rusty griswald.

My wife's all time favorite Christmas movie... We have seen it countless times. Surprised her with this (unfortunately 4K UHD is not available) but the BR is great. Details in background you can see that, at least for me, I've never noticed. If you have a spouse that loves this movie as much as my wife does and you have a 4K upscale rig (or even if you don't), this is a great surprise for the. She LOVED it.

A Jason Bourne xmas movie?! Count me in! In this film, Jason Bourne takes on old saint nick (played by Tim Allen). There’s explosions, icicles flying, bright lights ablazing and cousin eddie is a stone cold hitman that decimates a whole community with toxic waste. Whats there not to feel jolly about?

If you haven't seen it already, this movie is one of the funniest holiday films of all time, featuring an all-star cast including Chevy Chase, Juliette Lewis, Randy Quaid and others. Chase plays the lovable but clumsy Clark W. Griswold, a family man who is hosting in-laws for Christmas. Soon after the guests arrive at the house, chaos ensues and the hilarity begins and never lets up. If you are in the mood for some good laughs, you can't go wrong watching this!!
