Got this movie for my dad for Christmas. It's a classic with the rest of my family (mom, brother, sis-in-law, nieces and nephews) but oddly he's never seen it or heard of it before. We watch this movie every Thanksgiving and Christmas and thought he and his wife would enjoy it as a regular holiday movie like we do. I absolutely LOVE this movie and now everyone in my immediate family has a copy!

This movie is a classic very funny and great to watch.

Our oldest Grandson absolutely loves this movie and I was thrilled when I saw it knowing this would be a perfect Christmas gift for him‼️This is one of those Christmas Movies that he and his family watch together every year and now they don’t have to search for it on TV as they now own a copy of it‼️

After years of being told to watch this I finally did and I don’t think it lives up to the hype as the ultimate Christmas movie but I will say it does provide some good laughs throughout.

Over 20 years later, and Christmas Vacation still holds up as one of the funniest Christmas films ever! From the first scene to the last, the laughs keep coming, and anyone with any type of family dynamic will immediately relate to the pratfalls and stress that goes with holiday get together s. Merry Christmas to all, and beware of "SQUIRRELS!"

There isn’t anything special about this particular steel book version of the movie. It is still the movie without any extras. I would save the extra money and purchase the regular blu ray copy. There is definitely room for improvement on the steel book version, in my experience, steel books usually have a little something extra or marketing material on the inside that makes it stand out. This is just the movie packaged in a harder cover with pictures of the movie. If that’s your thing, this version is for you! As far as the movie goes it’s a hilarious fan favorite and a must watch every year!

The sweetness of this movie lies in Clark Griswold wanting nothing more than to give his family the best Christmas he can. Needles to say the road to get to his perfect Christmas is bumpy (to say the least). The audio/video on this transfer is great with improved framing over the original edition. This is the one you want. Highly recommended!

Christmas Vacation is easily one of my all time favorite Christmas movies and I've owned it since it first came out on Blu-ray in 2006. The master then was ok but, lacked a lot of detail and the sound was not great either. Warner Bros. has done a fantastic job restoring this Christmas classic to it's full glory!!! I love that it comes in a steelbook too! Makes it so much more collectable!

This holiday classic is sure to get you into the holiday mood with plenty of laughs and lots of memorable lines and scenes. Chevy Chase does a great job making you feel at home while making you glad it's not your family dealing with all of these issues at once. You can't go wrong with this movie just be sure you're a little ones aren't watching until they're a little older.

Our Family watches this movie every single year a couple of days around Xmas. We all know the characters and their lines which makes it so much fun and gets you into the Holiday Spirit! Its a Rock N Roll Classic and a staple just like Great Food at Thanksgiving! The Blu Ray makes it look like a digital Movie of Todays age..Must Have!

Christmas doesn't start until I see this movie and "A Christmas Story". Too funny, makes me cry laughing every time. As my life passes by, I can so relate to both characters, Clark Griswold and Ralphie Parker. We really don't realize just how special these times were until we grow older and reminisce with great fondness. Merry Christmas!

Is it even necessary to give this ultimate Christmas classic 5 stars? Despite the fact that it is on regular TV all holiday season, you must invest in a copy of the original in order to get the full, uncut version. Not offensive in any way, just that the way the original full movie was made is the way it is meant to be enjoyed at least a few time every Christmas season.

Chevy Chase isn't one of the best actors to come out of SNL, but when he does a good movie it stands out. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is one of those movies. The story line is very done. The only bad thing I don't like about the Vacation series is that they never keep the kids the same age throughout the series. If anyone remembers Anthony Micheal Hall played Rusty in the first Vacation. By time they did Christmas Vacation he was already grown up. But the keep was Rusty was older then his sister. That's the thing they messed up on throughout the series. Otherwise Christ Vacation is a great holiday classic.

This is one of my favorite Christmas movies of all time. Definitely a great movie to watch with your family. I would high recommend this and all of the other National Lampoons movies with Chevy Chase.

The steelbook case looks beautiful. The Blu-ray itself is a more recent edition than the other Blu-ray version you can buy, and is said to be a slight upgrade in sound and picture quality--definitely a huge upgrade from the old DVD. The steelbook version also includes a DVD in case you bring it to a friend's house who doesn't have a BR player.

National lampoons has had some memorable films, but none yet have ever had the guile to eclipse this particular title. Tons of laughs numerous quotable lines, and just so happens to be the best movie you'll ever watch ever since bing Crosby tap danced with Danny F in Kay. Put on your winter coat and snuggle with your loved ones, just make sure they are above 13 years old!

I can relate to so many scenes in this movie, including shopping at Marshall Field's in Downtown Chicago at Christmas. I always enjoy those scenes although it does make me miss Field's. Anyway, everything from tree decorating to dried turkey to old movies is covered in this classic for the ages. Always enjoy watching!

A must see at xmas time! Great cast- the kid who plays Rusty is none other than Johnny Galecki- Lenoard from the Big Bang Theory AND Julia Louise Dreyfus, too! And i can not stop laughing over Aunt Edith and "THE B-L-E-S-S-I-N-G!!!" I have watched it every year since it's release and will continue until i take my last breath...LOL

Couldn't find this on any streaming services and wanted the full un-cut version to show the wife who had (somehow) never seen it. Quality is about what you'd expect for something that was originally on VHS but it's watchable and still funny after all these years.
