Clark Griswold. Mr.Chey Chase. Is trying to have a perfect Christmas. He drives his wife and kids crazy to have a perfect Christmas. That is until his cousin shows up in his trailer unannounced and makes things difficult, plus campaign on their front lawn.

One of the pinnacles of holiday entertainment gets a high definition release in a Blu-Ray/DVD combo and steelbook (no digital copy, unfortunately). Some stuff is dated, but the majority of the movie comes down to the adventure and the performances. Chevy Chase, again, shows a penchant for losing his mind in the most hilarious of fashions, and being the atypical father figure that cannot easily let things go. We also get various other acting performances that are great, the best of which goes to Randy Quaid's Cousin Eddie. This movie is up there with Bad Santa and Scrooged as being the sort of Christmas movie that will draw in the adults for holiday entertainment.

This is one of my favourite movies of all time so I was thrilled to see Best Buy issue in steelbook. My family has been watching our DVD copy for nearly 10 year now so it was nice to step up to HD. This disc will get another 10 years worth of plays and will keep the holiday tradition going in crisp clear HD video and audio.

This is a classic, it is so fun to watch such a funny movie very interesting great Christmas movie. We watch this movie every single year. It never gets old. Just a great comedy with good acting. I must see movie. Love the steel book it’s great.

I love this movie to begin with, and this steelbook is really nice. Very happy with this purchase and the steelbook is great to have and collect for this one of a kind movie. Highly recommend this steelbook to anyone who is a National Lampoon's fan.

The classic Christmas movie is a necessity for any family Christmas! We traditionally watch it for the first time every Christmas season when we decorate our tree. This year, we upgraded to Blu-ray and while this doesn't have any of the normal Blu-ray bells and whistles, the picture quality is superb. You won't be disappointed!

Christmas is not the same without watching National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Talk about excess exterior illumination. This is a classic holiday movie, The Griswolds and their ever changing movie kids. Johnny Galecki (Big Bang Theory) is Rusty Griswold. This is a MUST HAVE for holiday entertainment. And its now on Blu-Ray.

Best Christmas movie ever! I had the movie on DVD and decided to upgrade to Blu Ray. Even though this movie is a few years old, the image on Blu Ray is crisp and clear. I recommend this movie to everyone. It's even ok for kids, unlike the new National Lampoon Vacation movie that just came out. Buy it and watch it every year!

Always a family favorite around the holiday's. Chevy chase is the one and only Clark Griswold. If you are tired of a Christmas story then buckle up with the Griswolds and enjoy some turkey and egg nog and have a Merry Christmas with the family.

I am going to start with, if you have never seen this movie... you need to. This movie has something that everyone can relate to regarding the holidays. This movie is perfect for putting things into perspective when we get to the point that we want to turn into a grinch because of all the hustle and bustle of the holidays.

Movie is a classic and must for the holidays that our family watches. Case did come shipped with minor dents but was overall packaged better then Amazon shipment lately as a comparison. Definitely a solid blu ray transfer.

One of my all time favorite funny movies of Chevy Chase. I watch it many times and still laugh at the same scenes no matter how many times I see it!

A great movie to watch every Christmas. Blu-ray version is a little clearer than the DVD version. Keep in mind this movie was filmed with SD so don't expect HD movie experience. Blu-ray will clear pixels up a little for your big screen TV. Overall, great movie.

One of the best Christmas movies of all time. And in 2020 it seems we can all relate to Clark W. Griswald. Has one of the best comedy scenes ever - don't know that I have ever laughed harder than Clark's slide down the snowy hill.

This is always a good film to watch during Christmas. There is some language so please be aware of that. The new blu-ray has been remastered and the film looks great overall. There is a little grain but the film texture looks good. A fun film to watch during Christmas (along with some other Christmas films).

What can I say here? It's a Griswold Christmas! If you have never seen the original (or any of) Vacation movies, stop and go see them first, otherwise carry on...you already know what you are getting into here. Easily the best of the Vacation series with the exceptions of the original one and "possibly" the Vegas one...

This remastered version came out briefly, and was available at BB in late 2015. However, it quickly disappeared and prices went up. This version is has much better picture quality than the original Blu-ray. However, there is only a LPCM stereo (2.0) track, so don't expect wild surround-sound explosions here.

This is a very funny movie. It exaggerates all the insanity of a suburban family Christmas. All of the actors are great. I first saw this movie on TV, when I was like 9 or 10 in 1997-98, but it some things were edited out of the TV version. Just be aware that if you are going to watch this with children younger than 12, there are a few curses and a few other inappropriate things in the movie. But, all in all, it's a wacky, crazy, but very funny movie to watch for Christmas. I got a great deal on this item on Best Buy's website right before Christmas too!

This is in my top 3 favorite Christmas movies, I have to watch it at least once very Christmas season. It has comedy, it has holiday spirit, it has Chevy Chase, what’s more to love. Fun fact, look closely at rusty Griswold, does he look like one of the cast members of the big bang theory, its because he is.
