NBA jam type of game. Gameplay is great, quick paced and a lot of fun. Can be a bit of a grind for card packs but not terrible, I've been adding legends at a steady rate. Overall fun game.

Always enjoyed basketball games but to play a full season on nba 2k would take forever. This has all the fun think old NBA jam Easy for small children to figure out. Only negative is card packs need to be unlocked via hours of game play or purchase

It's a great pick up and play game! Any time my son cousin comes they just sit down and play since they both love basketball, easy to pick up and play, will highly recommend it !!

I got this because it reminded me so much of NBA Jam. This game looks great and the controls are easy. It is also a huge plus to actually play as MJ.

Reminds me of NBA Jam. Very little NBA street. Pretty fun fast pace game. The more you play you level up your player giving you more styles of dunks.

Everything has flaws including this game, but overall I think the game is great. Yes you do have to play a lot in order to get players, unless you want to take the easy way and pay for them. Playing the game simply builds your skills and the players you have skills. I call it hard work to get what you want. It is simply a nice throwback fun game where you can gain skills to trash talk your friends as you play.

We bought this game for our son for Easter. He had been playing NBA 2K for sometime now and mentioned this game as something he would like. The arcade game play may not appeal to gamers looking for realistic basketball game play, but he has really enjoyed it!

It’s not quite NBA Jam, and not exactly NBA Street, but it looks like this is the best we’re gonna get for now. That being said, it’s incredibly fun playing with friends. If you’re into collecting, there are a ton of players to unlock. A nice alternative to 2K when you want to just pick up and play.

This is a great game. Fun for all ages and is a great jump in and out title. To see the legends I grew up with as well makes it even better. Plus I love the duplicate system and what changes were made.

Cheap street ball game that’s fun for maybe a couple days of entertainment and a good game for parties. It’s so cheap it’s worth buying. Wish there was more storied progression but it is what it is. Cheap thrills arcade style game.

This game improves from the original NBA Playgrounds. The gameplay is more fluid, there are more players thanks to the 2K backing. Even if you were a little disappointed in the original, I would recommend giving this game a shop (especially with the low price!)

This is the most fun I have had playing an arcade basketball game in a long while. I've always enjoyed arcade basketball games. Nba playgrounds 2k19 is fun! It has the crazy powerups and fast paced gameplay you'd expect. Well unless the player is "slow" lol. It has a variety of game modes from online 2v2, nba "season" and 3pt shootouts. nice mix of game modes and replayability for the asking price. my two issues with the game and the reason i take away 1 star is 1. The load times, the load times are long and there are there often. 2. You have to buy "card packs" to unlock players. You can grind away and earn in game currency to purchase said player card packs but it takes a while to grind the currency for it. You can unlock them all for about $10.. annoying But it gives you a reason to keep playing the game.. so there's that. Overall -- its a great fun game and i really like it

I was looking for a fame similar to NBA jam that I played on my old Xbox. I purchased this one on a hunch based on some reviews. The game is awesome. I play it nearly every day and finally I found a court I can win :p

Love it and very much like NBA Jam - wash to play and kids love it - great players and throwbacks with funny storylines and commentary

This game was purchased for my 9yr old son. He thinks it’s super cool and loves playing it with friends! I find it very kid friendly and appropriate for his age group. I love the cartoon like characters :-)
