Love the game big time everybody thinks it a real game

I preordered it. I really like it. Myplayer blacktop is one of favs. But the person makes every shot. It is pretty annoying. When you hit someone on a 3pnt attempt, they still make it. It freezes a lot in my player blacktop. The part I hate the most is you can't block dunks. It is pretty annoying. The only thing you can do against a dunk is strip them. My career is really fun though. The dunk contest wasn't any good. Its all about hype just like in real life. You also miss way too many wide-open dunks I say buy it.

NBA 2K13 is basically a refresh of last year's installment. There are some minor tweaks to My Career mode, but not anything to brag about. If you cannot afford NBA 2K13, NBA 2K12 will suffice. I traded the game in and bought Black Ops 2. 2K Sports does not have any competition so therefore this should have been expected. This game has nice graphics and many modes, but it is over hyped. The Career Mode is the best mode, but is very repetitive and lacks an in depth story line on/off the court.

This game plays very smooth, however, it lacks challenge. The only way you'll enjoy the benefits of this game is playing with someone else. The computer will make pretty much every basket no matter how many defenders are on em, vice versa for the player, you can hit shots from every corner of the court with anybody and if your playing with an all-star team your bond to score well over a hundred, and this is on the highest level. I honestly don't know why this was done but it takes away from enjoying the game. However, like i said this is a great game to have if you plan on playing online or with friends.

I got this game for my son's friend, he is really into sports games and enjoys the game, my son doesn't really care for the game, but doesn't enjoy sports games in general.

Best basketball game out there. Im not much into playing online or with the created player, but association mode is fantastic and the gameplay is good. Way too easy to shoot 3's though.

Come on 2K, here we are on your 2nd release (after the big innovation that was 2k11). You hired Jay-Z to do all of the presentation stuff this year, but showing him rap at the beginning of each game is not something that's gonna hype me up to play. The pre-game warm-up rituals and the end game highlights look soooo bland too. 2k11 sadly was the best at both of these aspects. And the gameplay has gotten even more whacky. In 2k12, any Joe-shmoe could shoot a 3pt shot 10 ft away from the line? Okay fine, but why doesn't the defensive AI adjust to this obvious exploit? Now in 2k13, the defensive AI can't defend the far 3pt shot or are able to box out the offensive team from getting any rebounds. In summary, just about every bug/exploit in 2k11 and 2k12 is STILL in 2k13. Nothing's been fixed, and the presentation is worse than previous years. My score, 2/5.

Great game! If you like basketball you'll love this game. Fun to play, with updating rosters while online. Does take a little bit to get used to some aspects of the game, but once you get it it's easy to remember. Super fun game modes, and tons of local fun for all!! Great game for those who like b-ball.

NBA 2k13 is the best NBA game available for ps3. Fun game to play with friends online or offline. Best part is the older teams that are available. Several Chicago Bulls teams from the 90s to play as and other great teams from the 90s. My only complaint about the game is that some players look too chubby in the game. But, I would definitely recommend it to any basketball fan.

Great quality, the features are awesome and the price is good.

this year's version is being exective produced by hip-hop heavyweight, & part-owner of the Brooklyn Nets, Jay-Z (r&b queen, Beyonce's hubby). Plus, it has up to date NBA rosters, really tyte graphics, & i always have sOo much fun creating a roster spot (for myself) playing the LA Lakers on "My Player."

IN my experience with this game, i find that every single shots goes in. I mean every game the shooting percentages would be 60+%. I mean i would literally be in someones face and he shoots a 3 and makes it in. The timing for shots doesnt even matter anymore, if u shoot a red shot, it still goes in. I mean not everyone is accurate, i had budinger make almost every shot from the 3 point line. I mean the graphics are realistic but the game play itself is horrible. Sorry

2K13 is another "good" addition to the franchise. The gameplay is good, not great. There are some frustrating nuances when you play the AI, but playing with friends is a blast.

The gaphics are really great, it is very realisitic. It took me a while to figure out certain things so I wouldn't recommend it as a first game. If you are a gamer then this would be perfect for you. For beginers like myself, start with something a bit simpler
