Great game local or online. My player is great, except for the first part that is a movie and that is horrible

I'm sure he will love it. It is top on his Christmas list! He loves basketball. It looks like a great game.

Physics engine and graphics improved from last year. Bringing back the dribble stick is a very nice plus.

For me, the main reason to get these games was the my player feature. I enjoyed the decision making process and going through the progression to becoming an NBA star. I was excited to be starting out in high school, progressing to college, and then the pros, but it became clear quickly that the choices you used to make along the way had been taken away. You are left with basically a movie that you play a few basketball games in between scenes. No ability to choose any aspect or outcomes of your players life. For me, this killed the gameplay. I'm not interested in paying $60 for an interactive movie. Give me a game I control or don't waste my time. The graphics and characters are as good as ever. If you stick around after the movie, the game play goes back to pretty much normal. Recommended you wait until on sale. Don't pay full price for a Spike Lee movie.

Defense and AI are awful. The rest is pretty great or what you would expect.

2K basketball games have always been the best. I love the pregame show with Shaq & Kenny.I like the career mode that takes you from High School thru to the pros. It makes the game feel more than just a sports game playing other NBA Teams

This is by far the best game of this series, BY FAR.. It feels so much more clean and crisp than last years version of the game.. The few new features are good also, but they pale in comparison to the improvements in the gameplay..

Micro Transactions is garbage in this game. No punishment for quitters like give them a 4 hour ban from the game when they quit repeatedly, My Team you can spend 100 bucks and not get the target card you want from the packs it seems like you are spending more and more, The Bugs and glitches are still noticeable and 2K servers are beyond the worst. But saying all of that when things work its a good smooth game, There are noticeable changes with the CHARGE CHEESE if you hold the charge button down your player will flop which is pretty good people exploited that from 2K15. My Career *Story* is okay depending your view point. There is an App where you can earn serious VC for whatever you want to use it for if you have those Screen Touch Phones. I say wait till the game drops under 30 and pick it up,

Very good sports game - realistic action in game mode and practice.
