This presentation is the best so far. The gameplay and authentic NBA presentation is the best of all basketball games. Visual concepts are pretty much the same from last year edition. Hands down my favorite.

NBA 2k17 is definitely much better than 2k16. I loved it.

The game play when it works is pretty fun. However, the game constantly freezes and forces the user to have to power cycle their Xbox One. It freezes on me at least 2-3 times before it will work. The game also frequently has connection issues to the 2K servers. If you are lucky enough to get to the start screen without freezing then you have to sit there and try over and over again to get it to connect to the online servers. These two issues pretty much make the game unplayable. When you do get to play the game it is pretty fun. I use the my career mode exclusively. Some of the things like "optional practice" and "required team practice" are completely unnecessary. They're just a waist of time. There is also a lot of pointless dialogue that you can't skip over. When you do get to the actual game play it is fun. But it is overshadowed by all of the other flaws it has.

Bought it for the husband for a great deal. Love the game.

2k is possibly the worst running game I have ever owned. It takes 8 years to load my career and even longer to load MyPark. Then when MyPark actually loads, good luck not lagging back out because the 2k servers are garbage. Don't even get me started on park after dark; it is the mother of terrible running piece of garbage 2k junk. i would not buy this game because it is irritating on a whole other level. Don't waste your money!!!

This review is being posted right after I was told to not bother 2k Customer Support again in an open ticket after I upgraded to an Xbox S and LOST my "MyCareer" file(s). I had months of gameplay built up, I earned a lot of VC (I didn't waste real money to use fake money) to have a player with an 89 overall rating (so what's that, 200/250k VC). Well I recently got a 4k TV and an XBOX S, I installed StarWars Battlefront and when I started all data synced and my profile appeared with all my "attributes". Then I downloaded a new copy of NBA2k17, when it loaded and tried to sync, it failed giving me an error code and loaded the "create player" screen as if I was running it for the first time. I canceled out of that and clicked on MYCAREER, no file appear. When I went back to my original XBOX and loaded NBA2k17 it did a sync which cleared out MYCAREER files, which meant it was cleaned off the cloud and gone!!! I contacted XBOX and 2k support, XBOX says the error came from 2k it's not their problem, 2k says too many people "exploit" this issue and they can no longer restore files or refund VC and to not contact them regarding this issue. I was pretty much told to f-off by 2k. I have purchased NBA by 2k for the past several years and this will be the last time I support this company. It is clear loyalty and a cost of $65 a year to buy the latest release means nothing to them. This is the by-product of a lack of competition. I hope EA releases a new NBA Live soon.

Got this game for my son for Christmas on black Friday online. I order standard edition. He can not play the game because of an error code and when you look up the error code on their website it states the game needs a download that is not available. Returning game back to best buy. Not cool at all
