I like the game besides the fact it's pretty glitchy.

This was on of my favorite sports games over the years dating back to 2k3, but it’s all gone south in the last two years. Gameplay mechanics are ugly and the story mode is frustrating. Sold the game and picked up FIFA.

2k18 took a step back in terms of visuals, the more I play this game I realize how bad the player models look. When my 8yr old tells me "Dad the the game looks worse" you know 2k messed something up. Two thumbs down.

Good presentation overall, but trying to level up player for single player and multiplayer is annoying as micro transactions are all over the place to try to get “decent” ratings for player.

Game is not yet opened, as it is a birthday gift for my son. However, I am disappointed that the cover doesn't show Kyrie Irving in his Celtics jersey. ;) I hope a new cover will be coming out 2K!!

So I’ve been a fan of the NBA and the games for awhile. I loved the setup of the game but I found myself becoming uninterested in the game after a couple of weeks.

I love the 2k games, but theres too many microtransactions for my liking. 2k games would be way better without them

It’s fun to play with friends and family, but 2K needs to change up the game. It’s the same thing every year.

The in game transactions and pay to play ruined an otherwise pretty good game

This game has a lot wrong with it so far such as blindly upgrading MyPlayer. Also MyTeam has become more cumbersome with things like goals to unlock all of the basic features to the mode (such as the Auction). Overall a pretty bad game.

Avoid. They made the grind way too much so you buy VC with real money.

About what you would expect. If you like EA games you will like it

I've usually enjoyed sports games but nowadays they're just doing too much. To even shoot the ball you have do all this extra stuff which I feel is unnecessary. Align here align there, too much but someone else may enjoy it.

Probably the worst 2k made so far. The franchise is getting worse and worse every year. I will not be buying 2k19 because of the downward trend of the 2k series.
