The best 2K Ever... Gameplay and animations are awesome with a Capital A

We get this every year me and my son love how they improve it every year

This is the best version of NBA2K to cone out. The career mode is best!

This review is specifically for MyCareer. I played and purchased the 2k series since it's inception. What to say about MyCareer. I have run into so many bugs that it is almost game breaking. My friends and I can't stay in the same neighborhood and then go to the playground for a pickup game...it automatically puts us into different lobbies. The connection on the 2K servers are horrible; I haven't had a game crash/freeze as much as Nba2k18. Too many things to discuss with bugs and just overall lazy developing. There is no quick option to join a pickup game. I have waited for a game to finish only to be overtaken by a squad who jumps in front of me. I have won pickup games and waited forever for another team to finally come play a game against us. The neighborhood has absolutely no purpose. It's just pointless walking around to get to a location. If there were more options to interact between players, it would create more of an immersive atmosphere. The vc greed is on another level. When you create a character, you have absolutely no idea what your stats are or how height/weight affects stats. You have to play an hour/hr and a half of prelude before you can finally view your stats. Don't like your character? Start over and waste your time with the prelude that DOESN'T let you skip cut scenes. Want to buy a haircut? Use your imagination because there is no preview. Don't like it? Pay to have your old hair cut. Everything relies on vc. The main reason why I don't like this is because it's a pay to play game...or I should say pay to win.

This game is really good and my career is challenging but entertaining

When you purchase 2K you know that you are absolutely buying the best available basketball sim on the market. The graphics, physics and realism cannot be matched by any other developer. My only knock on this game is the awful micro transactions that take place online. You either have to put in 100+ hours to level your character or drop $59.99 on VC. Clearly the developer built the progression system to have players want to buy the VC instead.

Another great game in an otherwise amazing franchise. NBA2K18 rocks!!

With microtransactions becoming more and more common in games, NBA2K is famous for leading the forefront. Couple this with VC bugs and what not and you've got the perfect combo for a decent game riddled with bugs. There's not many other great basketball games so this or live is your main choice. I'd say just don't buy at anything more than 30 dollars.
