it is complete now a microtranaction game in which just to make a shot you got to sink time or cash into this game me being a busy person i cant justify either

This game left me very disappointed, everything about it was poorly done and I have even thought about returning it and some of my other friends have returned it.

2k has ruined their own game, the bugs in this game are ridiculous the servers are horrible. Traded a friend for madden

In comparison to past NBA 2K games, this one wasn't the best. I hardly ever play it....I wish I could play the older NBA 2K games on the PS4 system.

Nba 2k18 is the basketball game to date. The gameplay is so smooth it is like you're watching a real NBA broadcast. The graphics are terrific, the commentary is unbelievable, & mycareer mode is tons of fun.

This game is probably the worst game in this year. 2k company wants customers to pay more and more money into the game and makes it a total failure. I’m a fan for the 2K series and this one is a disgrace for both Kyrie Irving and Shaq Oneal. MyCareer is just some BS that you gotta spend more than 100 to be “good” and 200+ to be “great”. Can you imagine a 80-85 rating NBA star can’t shoot some free-throws or shoot a open three? Well this game will show it all to you. The story line to this game is a joke to me. Too much useless conversations and 2K just tries TOO much on nearly everything. Graphics are great, but the biggest problem for this one here is the endless glitches that has been a glitch since 2k12 around what, 5 years ago and they still haven’t fix it for god’s sake. I’m feeling like playing a Beta version of the game. Again, a total failure just don’t buy this one. I am going to try NBALive to be honest after 2k18.

I've been a die-hard fan of the 2K series for many years. Pre-ordering and counting down to the game very year was something I would look forward to with giddy glee. And this year, I'm seriously disappointed. They significantly cut down the "prelude" for your MyCareer mode in what feels like an attempt to rush you into the NBA level games. 2K17 was superior in allowing you more time in college and working your way up to the big show. Then they eliminated rookie mode for MyCareer! Look, some of us enjoy the game but we're not the obsessed fans that play 24/7 and have something called a life. We don't just immediately jump in on pro level and drop 80 points a game. Eliminating rookie for MyCareer has led to frustration after frustration. The storyline this year is VERY weak. The addition of a very annoying "friend" B-Fresh taints quite a few interactions. I don't know who made the choice to add that player but they need to be removed from any future 2K games. The game plays well, the graphics are great. That's the only reason I didn't give this one star for serious deficiencies in MyCareer. The weakness of MyCareer and 2K's apparent desire to drive people away from it vs. online play is going to make me not pre-order the game next year.

It’s exactly the same game as nba 2k17. Mycareer is unplayable unless you spend 100 more dollars. I am warning you do not buy this game! Corny story mode Can skip cutscenes You have to pay for everything now This game is Pay to win.

In my opinion 2k17 was a much better game. I would wait for the next gen at this point
