The gameplay in NBA 2018 is very good, it has decent graphics, and it has a good amount of modes and a good soundtrack. However it also has VC and in order to get enough VC to upgrade characters in the MyCareer mode you will have to either grind a lot, or spend real world money. For me I only play the MyLeague Mode, so it was not a big deal as I did not need to use VC, but I think the practice is exploitative and that is why I cannot in good faith give this game the full five stars.
