I bought 2K on Switch last year with the convenience of having the on the go feature of taking my 2K anywhere. But I didn't see that much of a difference from last year to now. Its just a harder pill to swallow when you pay full regular retail for a downscaled version of the game. When I power up my Xbox One and compare the two... it's not even close!

Like the Madden series, it’s very detail oriented and the controller gives you a plethora of options and play styles. I’m not crazy about using the analog sticks for the shooting mechanic (kinda difficult) but otherwise a fantastic game of basketball. Great presentation too!!

NBA 2k19 is a fully-fledged game on its own. It is filled with countless modes, but does lack the graphical prowess of its PS4 and Xbox One iterations at the cost of portability, fo course. It is still definitely the best basketball simulation game in the market today!

I'm not sure if it's me or not, but the game play seems a little more challenging than in the past... you really have to be a 2k veteran to even play well in the rookie/beginner mode. Everything else is pretty much as you would expect from a NBA 2K game, nothing extraordinary.

The Switch version is on par with the PS4 and Xbox One versions for the most part. Graphics run at a slightly lower resolution, but everything else stacks up well. No frame rate drops, online seems to work well. Plus you can play it on the go.

I caught this game on a deal of the day, so I bought one for both of my kids and my nephew. Now, they play against each other. The game is awesome. You kind of know what you get with 2k games. This one lives up to the reputation!

Even if you buy the physical copy, you will still have to download a mandatory 25.5GB (!!!) update to start the game at all. It turns out that the default storage on a Nintendo Switch is 26GB, but not really, because even if you were to delete (squints) ***all of the other content on your card***, it wouldn’t be enough space to download the update. Which was the whole reason I wanted a physical copy in the first place!

This game is really fun if you get it for PS4 or Xbox. I would not recommend it for the switch. The controls are hard to use and it feels like it lags. You have to install the game which take about a year and three months. Then when you finally do it downloads the current players and standings and that take awhile to. You can skip this but you won't get the latest stuff and when you start up the game every time it downloads the latest stuff again.
