One Of The Worst Games Ever. Very Hard To Compete Against The AI.

Thankfully I got the game from Microsoft, but sincerely I prefer to uninstall it to save space rather than play it and I'll explain why. I miss the older games, I remember NBA2K since its beginning being a fun to play 5 star game, nowdays that fun gameplay it's gone, if you haven't play the old school 2K you have no idea what you are missing. The game is graphically ok, I think MLB the show and fifa soccer looks better, NBA2K used to be the best sport looking game, now it's more like a free to play quality game, I could digest more of its flaws, but why my screen is shaking when I have a free shot? that's annoying. I like NBA and having the all star team players by each team is cool, but why when I take the Bulls Michael Jordan team to play a match it's switched on the fly to other players ? if I want to play a match with Michael Jordan and unless I make the changes myself why the game itself is switching my players, it doesn't happen with other players compound, so I wan't to finish the match with Michael Jordan then I can't because the game arbitrary take MJ and his teammates back on middle of the match, come on. So that stuff is a big no no for me, I can't recommend play the game with those flaws that doesn't let you enjoy in the way that you want, for those who have enjoy the recent version of this game may have no complains, but if you remember the old school version you probably will dislike this one. I haven't dig in the online modes, that's where this game suppose to shine, but since the gameplay isn't fun to me, I won't bother in compete against people, it may be nice to play with someone at home and check on the roster. NBA 2K19 as a sport video game is not that bad but it's not that great, I would consider look around.

I received this game free as a bundle with my Xbox One X. The game play is really good although not a huge leap from prior years. The animations used on the announcers when they are previewing the game is absolutely terrible. This definitely takes away from providing a realistic experience. Thankfully the animations during actual game play is very good. The actual gameplay looks & feels great on the Xbox One X. 2K sports just needs to work on improving the graphics for announcers and half-time show.

Best sports game I have ever played. So deep and each player looks like the real life player. Also , I think I might solely buy digital. We have 3 xboxes in the House and digital makes things much easier when they can share and no missing or scratched disks.

I want to say this game is great, but it really suffers from the inside outside imbalance and sometimes the forced realism just isn’t practical. Regarding the first, a pure sharpshooter consistently hitting contested threes should not be happening at a significantly higher rate than lightly contested layups from an athletic finisher. The fact that this can happen with all the proper hall of fame badges is incomprehensible. I can make more contested layups more frequently in real life compared to this game. I’ve noticed PFs and centers just randomly dropping the ball while dribbling or even just standing still, and if the ball gets knocked out of your hands, forget about all functionality. Your character throws his hands in the air and becomes paralyzed for a few seconds. If you attempt to steal by pressing the x button, your character will either not respond or he will do everything in his power to wrap his arms around the other player in an attempt to foul them, or miss and become incapable of movement for a couple seconds after running several feet past any logical reasoning any defender would ever actually do. Want to rebound a missed shot? Just press the Y button and hope that your character decides to acknowledge the request. It happens sporadically, as it does with blocking, or may occur several seconds after the fact, followed by stumbling to the ground and a general incapacitation. This is a small list of the problems. If you take the bad aside, the graphics are decent, and the general feel of the game would be fantastic if not for the glaring holes. I’m hopeful that next year has more implementation of proper mechanics or this will probably be the last year I invest any time or money on the franchise.

year in and year out I keep buying this. But still a great game

I used my B.B. cc but it came within 20 minutes ... easy as long as you follow directions .... halfway downloaded purchased an hour ago

I've followed many 2K games. Their basketball series of games are great.
