Good game but nothing really new to get excited for

I bought this game for my son & my husband since they love NBA2k17. I thought this was going to be better, but neither of them like it too much. They said its boring and didn't enjoy it nearly as much as NBA2k17.... buyer beware....

I’ve had NBA 2k16 since it came out and decided it was time to upgrade. Maybe I’m just a creature of habit but I found the play style of 16 significantly better than 20. Still a fan of the 2k series and will check back in in a few years.

The only thing that distinguishes this game from 2019 is the roster changes and the character build. Everything else is the same. You could put the two games side by side and not notice the difference. Save yourself some money and get 2019...

I love the 2K franchise and have been supporting them since Sega Dreamcast days. My only complain about the game is that it has so much similarities from last year's version. I also wish that they have less cut scenes on the story mode.

Thought my 7 year old would enjoy this game due to the fact that he loves playing basketball but the controls and movement in the game are difficult and not very accurate.

I am one of those fools who buy 2k every year, even though it's always the same. This year, they tweaked my favorite MyGM mode and made it worse, which is very disappointing. Good thing I got them on sale.

As has been the case for the last few renditions of this franchise, you're basically getting a carbon copy of last year's edition. So long as you understand those expectations, you'll enjoy it.

I honestly think 2k could’ve done better with the my career story a lot was taken from it this year from previous years I feel like they went backwards instead of forward if that makes sense

I got the game specifically for MyGM mode. The overall design is good, but the amount of time you have to spend pointlessly talking to players and coaches to keep morale up is ridiculous.

To be honest, 2k was very lazy in this game. Not much different from last year overall. Pretty much the same game with updated rosters. I still enjoy the game but sheesh!

The defensive controls are still a bit wonky and it seems like the CPU gets more green shots than every before on normal difficulty. Still fun to dabble in at times.

I just want to play seasons of basketball, But 2K's now philosophy is to try and milk money out of you throughout. Not gong to happen here.

...the game is overly complicated. I've played the series since the dreamcast and try the latest version if few years and always walk away disappointed.

Bought for my 13 year daughter for Xmas. Was on her wishlist. She didn’t like it. I’m not surprised. Doesn’t mean it’s a bad game though.

NBA 2k is still nba 2k. Good game but nothing really changes from year to year. Still the same old problems but hey at least they updated the rosters!

It’s okay but needs improvements. There are pixels that aren’t that great that other games have better but to be the NBA it needs work.
