This is a hard game to review, because the core game play is good. But, it's filled with so many glitches and errors. I'm enjoying the offline mode for the most part in myteam. But, the online portion is completely broken. With many games not counting or ending with error codes. This game will most likely improve with time. But, right now it feels like an Alpha test. Also, I can't stand how much this game pushes predatory micro-transactions to improve your player or team.

My youngest grandson really enjoys having this game for his system since his older cousins don’t let him play theirs often

I had issues with the legend edition and the content it came with for the price, really soured my opinion on where 2k is headed. The game itself is good, and I think it’s better than 2k19. But it’s hard for me to recommend this to someone when the game was unplayable for me opening weekend. It’s been better since then, but I’ve also been less interested in playing. Really enjoyed my career until it crashed on me three times and I had to restart. I’ve had no issues since launch week.

NBA 2K is always a great basketball video game. At some point, the developers need to stop trying to reinvent the video game wheel and focus on a fun experience without an obscene amount of microtransactions.
