Game play is decent a bunch of new animations as well. The my player builder is revamped and great to make a specific kind of player. 99 isnt as much of a grind as previous 2ks. Also getting badges I'd changes completely less of a grind as well.

Looks and sounds good. Lots of in game options. He loves the many teams available for single or season gaming: current teams, All time, classic specific seasons for each NBA franchise.

Some of the game play is unrealistic, like Shaq and Dwight Howard making ALL of their free throws. Players that should be dunking, missing layups. However, still the best basketball game on the market!

Pretty good game

Hopefulyl 2k (or sports games in general) do something else besides release the same game with roster updates every year.

No frills fun

I continue to make the mistake of buying the 2K franchise, yet its always just the same game and commentary with higher number on the box. Online gameplay has come a long way, but the career mode games all feel the same.
