NBA 2K24 is okay, but nothing special. The graphics and gameplay are solid, which is expected at this point, but it doesn’t really feel like much of an upgrade from the last few years. The MyCareer mode is decent, but the story and progression feel recycled, and the heavy emphasis on microtransactions makes it frustrating to really enjoy without spending extra money. Online play can be fun when everything runs smoothly, but lag and matchmaking issues pop up too often. Overall, it’s playable and has its moments, but it doesn’t bring anything new or exciting to the series—it’s just mid.

This has great graphics, couldn’t wait to give it to my husband for Christmas and he hasn’t stopped playing it since!

Weird technical glitches in menus and such and some really shockingly repetitive announcer language (in my first game of a season, the announcers kept commenting on me setting season recordings) keep me from saying this is a step up from 23.

This is a steal at a great price. The action is real and the play is unmatched. Toy definitely wasn't to get this game.

I played the PS4 version and the PS5 version has better graphics and much more fun to play.

I think this year is a little better than the last couple. I am still sick of how 2k makes you have to grind so hard to be a decent player out the gate. Let me be a better ball player coming into Mycareer. Tired of the pay to achieve or grind for hours (hours i dont have) formula with these games. Still fun as a basketball fan. Best buy always delivers what i order and i dont have to worry its used or a different regions copy like Amazon sneakily does with some games. Best Buy is one of two places I buy electronics, appliances and games
