One of the best newer rock bands out there. Only their third release, and they've cemented themselves as one of the best!

Japandroids' "Near to the Wild Heart of Life" is a potent follow-up to their 2012 beast "Celebration Rock." A little more crisp and clean than its predecessor though with no loss of anthemic hooks, bar-punk guitar riffs and pummeling drums. Buy today and tell your friends you were listening to them first.

In my opinion this is the best Japandroids album to date. I have been a fan for a long time and I like Post-Nothing and Celebration Rock very much but Near To The Wild Heart Of Life is top notch!

I read about Japandroids before I ever heard them. Since I am a rocker I had to check their latest disc out. All I can say is give this a listen and make up your own mind. Be prepared to love it!

Is anyone else making music like this lately? It's guitar driven rock. If you like that sort of thing, it's everything you want.

Not as great as Celebration Rock, but still good.

I first heard about this band when Celebration Rock came out. I gave that album a listen and loved the bombastic sound of it and gnarled sound of the guitars and drums. I can't help but think their sound has been cleaned up a bit in Near to the Wild Heart of Life. It doesn't have the same crunch as Celebration Rock. That's not to say it's a bad album by any means.
