Not reliable at all

This is just a more expensive version of the D5 with an option to save a map and set no go lines. It didn't work. This vacuum failed to get home the second time it ran. The D7 ignored magnetic barriers and even no go lines within a week. This model was far less reliable than the way cheaper D5. I really like how Neato vacuums clean and the app is very good. But reliability makes this model not worth it.

Life changing.

Poor cleaner!

Had to get a computer person to help connect it and then after 3 visits it still would not stay connected to WiFi. Did not clean cat hair as well as my old D5 when I did get it to work so took it back and replaced it with a D6 which is wonderful!

Worked great, stopped after a firmware update

Robot would pull out of the dock and run loudly in one place until the battery ran out if the smart mapping with no go lines was turned on. It would function just fine with the no go lines disabled essentially turning it into a bot that costs less than 1/3rd of it's price point. I cleaned the sensors as directed by the FAQ and contacted Neato support when the issue persisted. I rearranged the docking area (despite it working just fine in the same spot for weeks prior to the update) per their support, deleted my map and remapped, it immediately reoccurred after way more effort on my part. Customer support appeared to be instructed to shift any fault in their product on to their customer and deny that it could even POSSIBLY be the software update that made it stop working. Thankfully Best Buy's holiday return period let me return it. Definitely will not be doing business with Neato again unless I hear they've changed a lot at the support level.

1st Vacuum Bot
