Very fun game I love the cars and the features of the cars the graphics are great as we'll and specially the soundtracks love all the songs. But one thing is I wish it was easier to race other players it's just free mode completely unless u actually go find other players. And the map gets pretty boring after a while. But I wish there's a multiplayer race lobby thAt would be great.

this game is great. playing online with cops chasing you that are ACTUAL people is thrilling. my only complaint is that i wish i could customize it like i could in the original need for speed most wanted for the xbox 360. the way this game is setup provides a whole new experience for racing games.

How would you like it if you went to a local grocery store for a bag of Doritos but the store would not sell it to you unless you bought a whole case of salsa in addition? It looks like Microsoft has done just that.
I have been a loyal NFS fan since the 1990s. This is the only game I play every 2-3 years. A new release out? I buy it and let the good times roll for a week or two.
This time it turned into a nightmare. I insert the disk into my XBOX360 Slim. The game wants to download a 1.6GB update. No problem. I have 3 drives. Internal memory (3GB free), an XBOX360 fat edition harddrive connected by cable (10GB free) and a 4GB USB drive. The game notifies me that none of these are acceptable and it wants me to buy an additional Microsoft drive. Frustrated, I restart the game and try again without the update but it doesnt let me skip the update. It definitely is determined that I spend another $135 for the harddrive I dont need since I have plenty available storage on top of the $60 I already paid for the game.
I chat with Microsoft support. After an hour of reiterating the same point, the support rep finally understood and presented me with two choices. Either buy the new harddrive or use somebody else's to start the game. I patiently explain that this is the only game I play. I cannot possibly justify spending $200 for it and then wait another 3 years until a new NFS release is out. I dont have any local friend that play this game to borrow the harddrive from either. She apologizes profusely, but offers no help at all.
At this point I drive to the same local BestBuy store I purchased the game from. I have no receipt anymore (it never occurred to me that I would ever need it, I didnt expect to be shaken down). No problem. they find the purchase and hear me out. The store manager issues a full refund.
I wish Microsoft understood what BestBuy learned a very long time ago. Customers dont like to be extorted. They vote with their dollars by taking their business elsewhere. That is what I am doing. This Need for Greed release was the last one I ever bought.

My son received this game for Christmas. He has played it several times. Looks fun, but the graphics are somewhat lacking.

Got this game for my son recently. Graphics are great and the concept is well done. It's comparable to Forza Horizon 2, but not quite as good.

The game is average. The map is literally just roads. Not as many cars or upgrades as last year's Need For Speed Most Wanted. Last year also had a lot more different missions.

Need for Speed - no really, need for hard drive

My son purchased the Need for Speed Rivals game - brand new. The packaging had a sticker on it that covered a small icon that featured one key piece of information - Hard Drive Required. We have not invested in this piece of equipment. Instead, we opted to return the game to Best Buy, but were unable to because the game is now open. (We had the receipt and had not even had the game for 24 hours) Long story short, my son used up his Christmas money to purchase a game that he can't play until he buys a hard drive. I am disgusted and he is disappointed.I do understand copyright concerns, but I am frustrated that unless we purchase a hard drive, all Best Buy or EA can do is say, "I am sorry."

EA sports is the worst

the back of the box says it needs 2GB of memory spacy. The HD content download in the game says it needs 1.6 GB of space. Now the freaking EA sports website says the game needs 3GB of hard disc space available. Worst thing the game cannot be played with out this download and you can only download all this content on a XBOX hard drive. So users with 4GB can forget about it, it will never download in a flash drive or any other hard disc connected to the xbox.
I will not recommend EA ever again ..
