This is great to better manage temperatures though the house. We upgraded from a basic thermostat and I grew frustrated not being able to program, now this does all the programming for us when we are home, away or asleep. Highly recommend.

Okay, I have bought into the Nest family of products, and this is one of their flagship devices. My not 5 rating comes from the frequent tuning and/or resets that I have come to live with. I still continue to purchase these devices because it is simpler to use them in my current configuration. If you are techy, then by all means consider this device, but if you are low tech, then go to the Honeywell units.

Love this gadget. Living on a two story home was a drag when I had to turn on/off the thermostat but with the app I can schedule it or turn on off with my phone without having to go downstairs every time. This smart technology learns my use and adapts... best feature by far. Also there is a rebate from the electric company so do your self a favor and purchase this great gadget.

Love being able to control from the couch or when away from home, the smart adjust is nice and also love being able to have the temperature sensor in the bedroom to control the temps in different rooms at different times of the day.

Looks great. Works great. Slick design, easy to use interface. I hope it works for a long time and ends up saving money, but it won't be possible to really see that until you've had it a year to compare savings from year to the next.

Have an older house and it is still compatible luckily. We had some trouble installing but got help from Nest customer service. They were pretty good but took 2 tries to get it right. Hoping to save some energy in our house.

Brought this thermostat for my mom with the sensor so I could tell on my smart phone what the temp is in her bedroom and to turn the temp up if need be or if she calls me if she needs it up or down. Great product.

Great for someone who travels or has multiple thermostats in their house. I had a friend install it for me and he had it done in about 20-30 mins. Pricey - I waited until it went on sale and would if I bought again.

Soo convenient! The best part is to be able to turn the heater on from your bed because it's too cold! Or to adjust the temperature from work (or anywhere else) if you forgot to before leaving the house

This product works well and would have been a great addition to my smart home ecosystem, unfortunately it doesn't work with carrier systems. I wish the next version will be tuned to work with carrier.

Upgraded from a previous generation to make use of the additional sensors. Super easy to install, even easier to use. Love being able to set my thermostat to a desired temperature based on the room I am in.

this thermostat is awesome!! it does everything for you...it remembers how you've made adjustments and will automatically adjust. it has saved me so much on my electric bill too

I would definitely recommend the nest thermostat over any thermostat I have used in the past. Yes it is a lot more expensive to purchase but the savings over time will EASILY pay for itself.

I am really happy with the purchase! I wanted to make my home smart, and that was the reason behind this purchase. Just make sure , whether your home temperator controlling unit is compatible with this thermostat, before buying this product. And Yes, this product needs to have above 3.6V of supply to work on Wifi.

Programmable thermostats are one thing, smart thermostats are a completely different thing all together. If you don't have a nest thermostat grab one you won't be let down.
