Brand new thermostat is faulty. Nest is replacing it now.

Had to replace old Nest thermostat that was broken by movers. Can't go wrong with nest.

Good product. Love the avility to change temp when not home. Helps on vacations.

The nest thermometer worked good for about a year. After a power outage and a new router update it keeps going dead and has to be recharged from a computer. Rebooted many times only to see a flashing red light and cold house. From looking on the internet, I know I'm not the only one having these issues. I will be looking at a simpler one(different brand) to replace this over priced POS!

Ever since Nest was bought by Google, it just wasn't the same. We exchanged for the ecobee and are pretty happy with it.

I purchased three units, but only 2 out of 3 worked. Bestbuy wouldn’t take it back, but Nest replaced it. Poor customer service from BestBuy.

these are great because you can set them remotely, i'm not a fan of the learning so i turned it off. The temperature sensor in the wall mount is HORRIBLE at least 4 degrees inaccurate. I googled how to fix on the internet and tried everything. I think they knew this when they sold them which is the reason they send you the extra temperature sensor. I would not buy them again.

I am not that much happy with this thermostat. It will not give you output as per cost.

Worth the purchase, the learning feature does try to adapt to your habits

Good customer support however this units are not capable of running my dual compressor with variable speed fans system. The customer support person gave me his best shot, sadly he was following the usual troubleshooting guideline. I do not believe he was capable of going beyond what he was reading and it was obvious he had no idea how to handle the type of AC I own. This thermostat do fine on simple systems by learning when are in the home and when they are not. Very high end systems that are designed to run efficiently at the selected temperature / humidity, this thermostat in incapable of deciding when to run on low compressor or when to select the High compressor and select a air handler fan speed ideal to maintain the selected confort level. Did not work for me. My recommendation to a friend will be based on the simplicity of their cooling system.

Although I got a faulty Nest the first time, I still believe it’s a great product!

Would not connect to WIFI so I called Nest and was on the phone with them over an hour and they finally said to call my internet provider. Took it back and purchased a Honeywell and had no problems with it.

Stay away from Nest termostat. This pice of junk last one year until he messed up my furnace. Apparently tge battery die after 1 year of use and stop sending signal to tge furnace, even with common wires connected. I had last week 3 times the HVAC check on my furnace and after 2 visits, tune it up the nest messed up by not sending the signal to the furnace. Now need to change tge furnace a $7000 because this nest termostat. The HVAC tech told me this is very common with Nest termostat.

I own 3 (yes 3) of Nest thermostats for past 2 years and pleased with the performance and quality. I had one issue with one of the thermostat not connecting to Wi-Fi after 6 months but manufacturer replaced it with no issues. Installation was pretty easy if you follow the videos and directions. I replaced in less than 45 minutes for all three. Looks great on my wall and had no issues so far. Very easy to control temperature from anywhere in the world and has saved good amount on electric bills in Arizona. I live in Arizona and you need this to control during peak hours. After I purchased, my utility company had rebate for 2 units and paid back around 200$ which was a great savings. Recently, I installed 2 temperature sensors for other rooms to control the desired temperature. Temperature sensors has limited functionality like no scheduling but it works to keep the room cool. Overall its a good product and happy with the purchase. It works with other smarthome devices like echo/alexa and google home hub which is very convenient. If you are looking for smart thermostat then this is the one to go with.
