Ok when its on sale

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setting up is clunky when you have multiple locations and google accounts. I mainly purchased this in hopes of using this with plex. The best way i was able to achieve this is casting it from my iphone. The onscreen controls do not respond well and which i ended up using the phone for controls which takes a way from its original purpose.

Simple things like setting a timer are better than on the old Google Home speaker as you can visually see a countdown of the timer and know how much time remains. Nice product - Recommended

It worked good, but I do not have a google home setup, so this didn’t work for my house. The screen was nice, and so was the speaker. Just couldn’t find a use for it since I don’t have a google home.

I really enjoy the look and feel of the device, and the color choices. I moved from Alexa devices to google and so far so good. The only issue is the voice recognition is still a struggle. It doesn't always hear me and if I saw owl lamp it reads as all lamps and turns all lights on or off, which is quite annoying. But considering Alexa did the same thing, it is an upgrade, and the speed and design is a definite upgrade.

Retraining your Nest Mini with the Voice Match may help, especially if you have other family members sharing your Nest Mini. You can try these outlined steps:
- Open the Google Home app on your mobile phone or tablet.
- At the top right, tap your account.
- Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to your speaker or display. To switch accounts, tap another account or Add another account.
- Tap Assistant settings > Voice match > Add devices.
- Make sure any devices you want to link your voice to are checked.
- Tap Next, I agree.
- Follow the in-app steps.
- To get your personal information, you must turn on Personal results.
- Tap I agree and proceed with the Voice match setup.
- To invite others to set up Voice Match for tailored results, tap Invite, choose your communication method, and send the invite. To skip this step, tap No, thanks.
