We purchased it for our parents as a photo frame. Great solution for half the price with all the Google features. Photos are being pulled straight from Google photos folder. Excellent buy!

I didn’t want to use my voice to make it function but it always wants you to. There are no directions for it and googling how to get to certain settings or setting it up to be more personalized just made it a headache! It’s a clock and occasionally I am able to make it play music through pandora but it just picks a random station and starts whatever music it feels like. It also doesn’t show room temperatures with the nest features… it shows me the thermostat which I have on my phone and the wall… I wanted more detailed information from the nest part of this thing because if I’m not home and someone else is they should be able to see everything I own through nest — a google product— but it doesn’t function that way. I am used to straightforward easy functioning apple products so this just sucks in comparison.

Can be a bit intimidating but if you sit down and plan out what your going to use it for you'll find more uses than you originally bought it for.

The sleep tracking is OK but seems to need some refining, plus Google may be charging a fee for that next year. It lacks options to combine the clock with the display.

Sound is not the best, Alexa3rd gen I have had a better audio.

Fast and responsive . Only wished that the setup / resetting would have been done on the hub itself instead of using a smartphone to do it.
