We bought this cause we liked the one got our daughter and son in law. Love the screen. And love its a google. Which work with Androids products. Plus we can blutooth to our Andriod cell phones and talk to family and friends. Also you can video chat using this Google/ Andriod product. Just use googledou instead of messenger and you're good to talk.

This was an early Christmas gift for my young adult grandson to listen to YouTube and Spotify music. This is his first smart speaker and he loves it. He’s finding other uses for it and is looking at things to link it with, such as smart bulbs. He’s wheelchair bound and is very hard to shop for because he doesn’t have a lot of interests. This was a definite hit.

I use this primarily as an alarm clock/picture frame on my nightstand. I notice that the voice recognition works much better than Siri, and it just understands what I am saying much better. Plus it is a lot harder to accidentally say something that sounds like “hey google” than “hey siri”. Important thing to know, this does not have any cameras on it, only light sensors for the automatic brightness, The things that this thing is SUPPOSED to do seem pretty limitless. I say it like that because one of the things I really wanted it to do was shuffle through pictures of my partner. And I for the life of me could not get it to do that. I connected it to google photos, downloaded google home, made a photo album with her photos, and I was pressing all of the right buttons to the point where it was saying it was shuffling through her album, but it kept only showing art. I messed with this thing for hours, rebooted it multiple times, googled it, went through reddit posts regarding the same issues but could not get it to do what I wanted. Seems to be a glitch or bug or something because the settings to do this were all there and easy to access, it just wouldnt work. Finally though, I got it to work by shuffling through the “recent highlights” album which I curated to be her photos. I don’t dare touch the photo settings ever again though because it took so much trial and error. It also isn’t without its fair share of lag. It does not swipe through apps or open anything seamlessly. Overall, I do really like it now that it does what I bought it for, especially because I got it significantly on sale. But if you aren’t the most patient person or have specific tasks you want this to accomplish, I reccomend doing some research before you buy.

Great little google-very easy to set up and friendly to use for elderly senior!! Grand kids love it too. Can watch video and listen to favorite songs -even nursery songs for toddlers!! Also use for recipe display and some easy listening after dinner. Liked it so much-bought 2 -one for my north house and other a Fl.house.

This Alexa is a perfect size and has an amazing speaker. I got this as a present to be a replacement for a doorbell chime and it worked great.

We purchased the "nest hub 7" to have in our kitchen, to utilize all the great features of music, recipes, the weather for the day and the convenience of everything we can do on a lap top/computor. We listen to alot of different types of music and all we have to do is say "hey google play and whatever it is we want to hear is played. The best thing we did was go to Best Buy and buy the "Nest Hub 7"

Picture and sound quality is great! It is also very responsive even at 30ft away.

I love my hub. The variety of alarm settings , the voice is clear. You can play YouTube videos, Netflix and more. It’s great when you are cooking and when you fall asleep at night it tracks your breathing, snoring, and more. It’s nice to be able to turn up the heat from bed since it sinks up with my Nest. I love it as a timer, and making lists. It’s great!

Better than just the speaker. Nice and simple to use. Would be nice if this also had the camera.lkke the max but thats ok.

I had to replace my previous Nest Hub Smart Disply 1st Gen, because the Big G bricked it when they upgraded their code. The device have a good display, that is really smart - it gets dimmer when the lights go out. And a reasonable sound system within. The touch panel is so easy, that my 4 year old knows how to use it. The Integration to G Home is interesting, but not compelling. Best Buy said that I would get 25 points if I reviewed this product after I purchased it. Just wonder what 25 points means anymore in these inflationary times.

This is our second Nest hub and we purchased the smaller display for a specific purpose at my parent's home. They are in their 80's and 90's. It worked just like our larger display! We even loaded Pandora so the two could enjoy their favorite music (religious and country) while sitting at home. Despite my parents age and weak technical exposures and aptitude, they've adapted to it quickly. I wish we'd gotten this for them sooner!

It's the right size, moved some of the controls to this unit from the phone. I found the set up easy, the same as any Nest product. I like the clock

We use this to monitor our kids nanny cams and control lights in the house. Works so well as a hub!

A great display that has lots of features and a decent screen size. The resolution was good and speaker was better than I thought it would sound.

As an avid fan of the Google Home ecosystem, this was a no brainier. I appreciate the ability to ask questions, get a visual prompt, use hand gestures, watch videos/movies, and display photos. There are plenty more reasons, but there's a lot to love about this device! Only drawback is you're limited to where you could use this device if you want to use the screen. And, the design of the device makes it difficult to put it in small spaces, so you're limited in that aspect.
