Solid bedside assistant

This replaced my 1st gen on my night stand and the speaker quality is even better and I’m loving the motion sensing features for when I sleep or need to turn off my alarm. I highly recommend upgrading to the 2nd gen if you still have the 1st.

Better than I expected

It didn't get me everything I wanted as I was using at my desk and it would've been nice to have a thrid screen for shows and such. I for the price I paid for the Lenovo clock I returned it I hopes the the hub would have the bells and whistles I was hoping for and it DOES. I like this a center hub for all the Google devices in my house but I also like that it moves with me in my day to day life. I didn't pay the full price but it think it would be worth it if I had.

Stylish hub for compact spaces

Me and my family werw moving so I decided to buy two more and put one on each bedroom and the bigger hub with the camera in the kitchen. When I tell you I was blown away when I set this up and found out about all the new features. The part that tracks your sleep and gives you tips on what to do to make you sleep better is my favorite part. This is an overall amazing product.

A Staple in our home

They're great for seeing the weather or who's at the front door or getting a quick Google answer to a question or even having it tell a joke. They have all worked flawlessly without any glitches. Never needing to be rebooted or malfunctioning. Flawless and well worth the price.

Good cheaper option for a smart google

The bigger one has a camera which is very nice for ease of mind and of course has a better screen for viewing things like videos or reading recipes. They both seem to work equally as good as the other, i just prefer the bigger one a little bit more.

Hub is underpowered - Glorified picture frame

Bought it because I added 2 Nest floodlight cameras and a doorbell to my home. It is clunky and slow to respond. Phone is far faster. The speaker is Ok for sound, but integration with Spotify via hub is terrible and if you’re an iOS household forget pushing from your phone to hub. Oh, and YouTube music works, but changing songs is slow and unresponsive. Should I expect more from Google? Probably not given the clunky install of 3 Nest products (dependent on QR codes). Use your phone or get an Android tablet instead.

Meanwhile, it can be helpful to check for any wireless interference or rang issue that can affect the overall performance of your Nest display. Although the device can pass the connection test during setup, it will struggle to stay connected if it’s just a bit too far away from your router. If you're experiencing a spotty connection or weak signal, we also recommend checking your Wi-Fi network to see if your bandwidth is congested, which happens if you have too many devices connected on the same bandwidth or if your network package is not enough to handle the data traffic on the network. Removing other connected devices to your Wi-Fi may relieve network congestion. You may need to extend your Wi-Fi network’s range using boosters or additional Wi-Fi access points if your display is located too far from your Wi-Fi router.

The inclusion of Chromecast allows this to play youtube on the screen with the speakers. but you wont want to use this for watching your youtube movies because it's low resolution and poor colors doesn't do the screen justice

Playing songs and others things are great. This is not a concern for this price and i would like to thank best buy to provide such a good deal. Sometimes unable to create own background pictures and it taken directly from google photos. it was confusing while installing the device and it was supporting suites wifi login methods. It would be good if have those options.

You may try setting up your Google Photos as a background display by following these steps:
- Open the Google Home app.
- Touch and hold your device's tile.
- At the top right, tap Settings and then Photo Frame and then adjust the settings you want.
