Instantly connects to my Google Home app. Love the ability to see who's at the door. Also love broadcasting a message to other devices. For the price I wish the screen was just a bit larger.

Nest Hub Gen 2 does it all...

From the smart home to music and video. Sleep Sensing is the best way to track your sleeping without having to wear anything, Can be a little sluggish when swiping through the UI.

For slow display, we could be looking at a possible connectivity issue that affects the overall performance of your Nest Hub, and it’s important to make sure that this is not caused by a spotty or weak Wi-Fi signal. We suggest checking your Wi-Fi network for a strong and reliable connection. If you have too many devices connected on the same bandwidth or if your network package is not enough to handle the data traffic on the network, removing other connected devices to your Wi-Fi may relieve network congestion. You can also try doing a factory reset to improve its performance.

Granddaughter Loves It

I love the idea of having Google assistant with a visual representation of everything. I would give it 5 stars except that it won't allow me to use the but in mic to communicate with visitors on my nest cam battery.

You will find yourself yelling at this device at times because like most tech, it isn't perfect.

For the best experience when giving voice commands, adjusting your Nest Hub's mic sensitivity and retraining it with the Voice Match feature can be helpful, especially if you have other family members sharing your device. To set it up, simply follow these steps:
Adjusting your Nest Hub's mic sensitivity and retraining it to better recognize your voice can be helpful with the issue. Check out the steps below:
Retrain Voice Match:
- On your phone or tablet, open the Google Home app.
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial and then Assistant settings and then Voice Match.
- Tap Teach your Assistant your voice again and then Retrain.
We also recommend changing Nest Hub's hotword sensitivity:
- Open your Google Home app.
- Select your Nest Hub.
- At the top right, tap the Settings (Gear) icon.
- Then tap Audio.
- Then tap "Hey Google" sensitivity and adjust the slider to make your Nest Hub more responsive to the hotword.
