Nice for the home office area

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Comes in handy when someone ring the doorbell and i have the google cam set up to it through the Google home app. It allows me to sync to my calendar and play music from spodify. I can also use it to set an alarm or if i have a question about something, all it takes is a simple "Hey Google".

They don't do anything well, but I keep them around. I like the lack of cameras, but it's a false feeling of security. I find the sleep monitoring amazing (who needs a camera, right?). Everything else is only 60%. Finally, it's glued to a pedestal and leashed by a short cord. It's awkward to impossible to use in bed without sitting up or spending the morning looking sideways. Again, I own three of them. I use them daily. Bottom line - If you want one, buy it. It's far from perfect but it is an on-ramp to google home control.

Unlike Amazon devices which seem to have a slew of issues, the product either inherently or with a restart fixes most issues. Pros: Home integration and tasks are easily integrated into what you need them to do. As an alarm clock it performs flawlessly, hand gestures are great for the alarm feature or for music when playing. Cons: haven't run into any yet.

Being able to pull video up in the kids room is great at night. Playing video on it is great for when kids are in the room but don't want the big screen on. Alarm functions are great. Almost nothing I can say I don't like about it after the time I've had it. Like anything, your mileage may vary.
