This has a really sharp display and features that help with daily living. I especially like the sleep tracker feature.

The Google Nest Hub 2nd Gen is a very helpful device. Setup is easy, and it is very compact, not using a lot of space on my nightstand. My only addition would have been the camera with the closable lens like some of their other gear. The sleep sensor works surprisingly well. Maybe too well, as I noticed that it tracked one night when my cat went to bed before I did. I would prefer that it had a more precise time legend, as then I might be able to track down exactly what time something is waking me up. I am also disappointed that they are talking about charging for the sleep sensing, as that was a major selling point for this model. The speakers are very good quality for the price-point, and being able to connect it with my Google home to control accessories and make broadcasts to the rest of the house makes life so much easier. All in all a great addition to my growing "Smart Home".

The Nest Hub 7 is a fantastic smart display. It's easy to use with Google Assistant for controlling smart home devices and checking information. The screen is clear, and it looks nice in any room. Overall, it's a great addition to my home.

I bought this hub for my daughter, who is a travel nurse. She can use it to display a clock or to show a slide show of family pictures. She was able to set it up under our Google Home account so she has access to the same pictures we have on ours at home. It doesn't have a camera though. I had one of the original versions and I thought it had had a camera. Otherwise I may have bought her the more expensive Max version since the plan was for her to be able to use it for video chats. It is worth the price and since it can be a clock or show any picture, it can blend in as part of the decor. The rose gold color is a nice option.

I’ve been using the Google Nest Hub 7" for a while now, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite smart devices. The screen is the perfect size...not too big or bulky, but large enough to clearly see recipes, photos, and weather updates. I especially love the photo frame feature; it feels like having a digital picture frame that updates automatically with my favorite memories. The voice assistant is very responsive and makes it easy to control my lights, thermostat, and other smart devices without lifting a finger. I also use it in the kitchen daily...it walks me through recipes step by step, sets multiple timers at once, and even lets me play music or YouTube videos while I cook. The sound quality is surprisingly good for such a compact device, and the touchscreen is smooth and intuitive. It’s also handy as a bedside clock, with gentle alarms and the option to dim the screen at night. Overall, the Nest Hub 7" is reliable, sleek, and versatile. It makes my day-to-day routines easier and adds a nice touch of convenience and personalization to my home. Highly recommend it!

The Nest Hub is a smart device with an average build quality, but its performance is outstanding. Despite its somewhat ordinary appearance, it excels in functionality. I had an old Insignia works with Google alarm clock and the display finally gave out. I wanted to update my daily bedroom clock from just a display with Google assistant to a touchscreen. I found the Nest Hub 7" with Smart Display on sale at my local Best Buy. I played with the store display for a few minutes and decided that it would fit the bill. I got it home and over the next few days, I found out it was much more than just an alarm clock with Google assistant. I have it monitoring my sleep, which is awful, but it gives me insight on what I can do to make it better. I'm able to view my Google Camera in the garage from my bed should I hear a noise or just want to make sure the door is shut. I don't need to turn off the house alarm to check. I use it for the weather as I live at about 3300 ft above sea level, but have to travel over the Cajon Pass at 3700+ and then drop down to around 2000 on the other side. The weather at home, at the pass and what we call "down the hill" can differ quite a bit. It's also great to answer those stupid questions that pop in my head as I try to fall asleep. Lastly, I now ask it to play "Delta music" to help me fall asleep. So far, I've had good success with that and with my YouTube Premium subscription, the hub plays it without interruption via YouTube Music. I'm sure I'll figure out more uses as I add devices to my home. Next up is a smart thermostat. I was going to buy the Lux one, but I missed the sale. I'll catch it next time should it go really low again or I'll grab one of the refurbished Nest ones.

I will still give it a 5 star eventhough it has no camera. The reason i give 5 star is because of the price of it. It's really affordable and very convenient. The sound quality is excellent and the bass is awesome. It's perfect when you're listening to music such as pandora or spotify. It's very compact that you can put it on your side table. It's user friendly and you can link your other google device on this.

I recently purchased the Google Nest Hub (2nd generation) and I must say that it has exceeded all my expectations. I use this in my office to view my cameras throughout. It’s super easy to use and I don’t have issues with it.

This was bought for my wife working at home. Her office is isolated so being connected to the rest of the house was important. She uses it to see who is at the front door and back door. It allows viewing of video for entertainment, podcasts for edutainment, and music. Coupled with other speakers in the house this fill the center of the home with full sound during music playback. For the price this is amazing what all it can do. I would give 5 stars but the lack of a camera for video chats is just lazy. Even if it was addable i would rate it perfect.

It's perfect for organizing my schedule. It also gives me weather alerts and lets me control my home electronics. I watch movies, videos, and listen to my favorite music. It's my constant companion.

Excellent for a smart house! Once the setup is done it is great to use in a large house to call others without yelling and putting reminders for others.

This was a gift for one of my children. They were looking for something with a display to replace their Google Home. From what I hear they are very happy with the Nest Smart Hub and have it connected to heir other google smart home devices. I also own one and have also been very happy with it. It controls other smart home devices mad by other manufacturers. Very easy to set up and interface with my devices.

After having used the NestHub for over a year, I can say that is a solid device. The screen is nice and bright and large enough to navigate and ready text without any issues. Although sometimes there is a lag between changing tasks or switching screens. The music from the built-in speakers are loud and crisp. I just wished the UI was easier to navigate and more intuitive. Other than that, it is quite a wonderful device to view pictures and automate your home.

If you're used to Google Home/Nest speakers then know that these are a remarkable step up in usability. Just having a display for timers alone makes it a pretty handy upgrade by itself. The place these really shine though is that photo display. They've incorporated an ambient light sensor that not only gets brightness but also color temperature. By balancing the color temperature and dialing back the brightness to only what's necessary they've managed to nail the effect of it not looking like a digital picture frame, but instead it simply looks like traditional printed picture. It's an intoxicating effect that I still marvel at. If you're looking for a digital picture frame then know that this is the Holy Grail of picture frames. Management is dirt simple, just fill a folder in your Google Photos and point the device at it. You can then just adjust the photo list at your leisure. While they do have light sensors for for the to help with displaying the pictures well note that these do NOT have a camera. So yes you can't use it for two way video calls or as Nest home security cameras but it also means that you can put them in bedrooms without any kind of video camera privacy issues. I just bought a number of these to replace Insignia Smart Speakers in the bedrooms after first living with the Max version in the kitchen.
