This is my 2nd Google Assistant-type of product. I have a JBL Link View which I also use in the kitchen. I use the Google assistant mostly for playing music videos, simple searches for traffic and weather while preparing something else, or saying commands for my WiFi-based lights. This product is no different from other devices and functionality-wise, it's a great product as everything from Google is "linked" together and have the same user interface. I know what to expect from getting a smaller device so I don't expect it to give a full sound for playing music. However, what I started noticing from this device compared to my other google assistant (JBL LinkView) is that it has a higher rate of failures in understanding my voice commands even though it's in a bedroom. There was one time where I did not even say "Hey Google", and it picked up something from a TV news and started playing a podcast. It's strange as I thought everything has to start with the key phrase (ie Hey Google or OK, Google). The only explanation I can think of is because of the limitation or sensitivity on the microphone (maybe a cheaper or low-end device) so it interprets a different command. In the JBL LinkView, even when there are some "chatter" noise in our living room, I'm amazed that it can pick up my commands clearly even when you are just whispering. Overall, this is still a great device but don't expect it to be perfect with all your voice commands.

I love this. Play music or videos while I cook and can change videos thru my phone if needed.

Purchased two of these displays when they were 50% off. Display is very clear and the sound is great. Menus/apps are a little tough to navigate and you are better off just asking google to do it for you. I'll definitely be buying more to replace my bed side clock.

I had the original version of this device and was looking to add to another room. One noticeable difference is the improvement in sound, both volume and tone. Have not tried the sleep sense portion of the device, but it was easy to configure, just getting the placement right might take some time.

I am happy with the display of the Nest Hub, but I had to replace it because the screen cracked when the device accidentally fell. The fall wasn't even severe, but it must have encountered something that caused the damage. It would have been helpful if screen protectors were available for purchase or included with the device. Perhaps there are screen protectors designed specifically for the Nest Hub, or maybe there are similar devices, like iPads, of the same size that offer compatible screen protectors. Fortunately, replacing the Nest Hub was simple because I had a Best Buy membership at the time.

Great use and addition to my Smart Home setup! VERY easy to use and function and if you have Android/Google phone the setup is very ease and fits right in to your daily life!

This Nest Hub is a great home control center. If you have smart lights or other smart devices you can control them right from this Nest Hub. The speaker is good and get pretty loud. The only complaint that I have about this is that the display is a little small. Overall a great product.

Overall a good product but a few issues. Lots of streaming services listed on the box, but very kludgy to accually connect to them, much more akin to the original dumb Chromecast with its own display. Assistant might be best feature, but I don't use it.

Works great as a controller for a bunch of smart bulbs and switches. Easy to use and inexpensive.

I love all of my Google products, but these nest hubs have been the best. They record my sleep so I can see if I am sleeping well, they are great alarm clocks, great to ask questions, and amazing for finding recipes.

Like Sleep Tracking and this Nest Hub 7". Looks great in bedroom. I have 2 units now, happy. Sleep tracking free in 2023 but subscription in 2024 for services like health etc.

Excellent product would recommend it to everyone to buy very informative and good knowledge

I love these things. I have 4 spread around the house & they make for a great Google Home speaker group. It's not going to knock the socks off an audio nerd but it sounds good. It's good for a Google dashboard & answer center. The video quality is also very good.

This is a simple device that connect to your Google ecosystem and therefore can be very useful. If you are in an apple ecosystem it may not be great at which point I would recommend the amazon echo.

Great for ambient sound as well as sleep tracking!

The best and affordable Nest Hubs I have used. Music of this and videos make it enjoyable to cook and clean.

It's great at turning off lights giving recipes in the kitchen and information also timers reminders news and information and watching videos looking at photos YouTube videos and you can also watch YouTube TV and sling TV and Netflix and other services

I love this. I switched everything in my home to Google products once I got my Google Pixel 7 Pro, and I have no regrets. Likewise, I used to have Alexa devices, but these are so easy to use and the Google Home Kit is very user-friendly.

I wasn't expecting the photo frame as my main dispay to be one of my favorite parts! I already knew I liked using google assistant on an old speaker for timers and alarms but now I have extras with having a display. And the size is nice.
