    We have 3 of the display type Google home units and several of the minies. They are awesome to configure as a group of speakers for your whole house. These display types integrate with home automation devices easily allowing you to have a touch screen interface besides talking to them. Also it's great to show weather and videos. Especially when these go on sale are they very attractive.

    The value is good if it's on sale. I got it for $60 and wanted to use it to help with creating a good bedtime / morning routine. It allows me to say Goodnight and then move into hearing my calendar for the next day, setting the alarm, cutting off any lights/tv, adjusting thermostat, and then goes into playing rain sounds until I fall asleep. Pretty cool! I also love that it works as a digital photo frame so I can see randomly photos that only existed in my phone and rarely were viewed.
