I was debating on this and the echo show 8 and I think I’m going to go with the echo only because I have more Alexa products in my home versus google. Still a great smart home display

I thought what was lacking was the sound bar. If you can afford the nest hub max, I say go for it. The nest hub is good for the kitchen perhaps.

Our concept behind Nest Hub (2nd Gen) was to create a lower version of Nest Hub Max but offer a similar value proposition for our more budget conscious customers. A few trade offs included installing a smaller speaker set and removing the camera, hence the lower price point.
