Love this product!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this little hub! We always have music going and its a nice little product. Love being able to check the weather and ask it questions. It also lets you know if it hears any noises such as fire alarms or windows breaking which i find comforting!

Solid Addition to a Apple/Homekit Home
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My home is filled with Homepod and Amazon Echos in every shape. I've always been drawn to these systems as I'm an avid apple user. I purchased the Nest Hub for my work office to place under my monitor to add simplicity to daily tasks, ask for weather info, correct spelling and other things I would typically open a browser tab for. I've taken such a liking to the Nest Hub, I return a week later to purchase one for my home office. I love the additional functionality it provides when used alongside a primary desktop in the office. I already have a smart home, and the Nest Hub easily connects to most devices I have already. For any others where there might be a challenge, I look forward to the upcoming industry standard, Matter, to bridge the gap. A great purchase and highly recommended to fellow apple enthusiasts. To make matters even better, I picked up both of my Nest Hub for $50 on sale. Great value!

A true smart home hub
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 3 of these now. We have 2 cameras in the kids rooms and be able to check in on them without touching your phone is great. I also have one sitting by my WFH space and listen to NPR with it. If you have several smart home devices, it's great to have everything paired up and able to quickly access them from here.

functional
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use the sleep tracking function, and it helps me create better habits around sleep. The speaker is good enough for podcasts, and music, but it is not an audiophile speaker.

All of Nest without the bulk
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you'd like the display without the bulk, this is a great in-between of the Nest Mini and Nest Hub Max. It would be nice if it did have a camera for those video calls but still worth it given the lower price. I recommend only purchasing when on sale.

Gets the Job done.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Both this to replace my previous unit which showed up a cracked display randomly one day. It works like a charm and if we didn't like the first one, wer would not have invested in a second one. Display is nice and vibrant, good size for tight spaces, and shows just enough information so you do have to look it up yourself. Just wish it had a camera built into it so you would have the purchase its bigger brother

Nice midrange Google Home unit
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent midrange addition to the Echo line, with a decent screen, pretty good sound quality, and all the usual Google Home features. It could be a nice first introduction to the lineup, if you're not sure you want to spend a lot of money, or a good addition to another room in your house. (I use mine in the kitchen, especially for the timer feature.)

Sound quality, sleep tracking, soli gestures
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound quality is much improved over the 1st gen, not that the 1st gen sound quality was bad. The 2nd gen is more bassy, without sounding muddy. The sleep tracking is more useful than I thought it would be. The sleep data is pretty in depth. The Soli gestures to play/pause music and to snooze alarms/timers is pretty cool as well.

Easy to use smart display
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simple to set up and use. I primarily use it for controlling smart devices in my home, and listening to music. The display looks great, and the audio is decent enough for a small room. If it included a port to charge your phone, it would be perfect.

Fun if you need an extra screen (or clock)
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This makes a nice clock! I wish it had the option to just display the current outside temp without a clock but it doesn't. If you want to watch things like YouTube or Netflix on it then it's great to have but if you just want it for voice commands and to use as a speaker then you might want to just get the speaker. Really depends on what you want to do - but you will still need to have the "Google Home" app on a mobile device in order to make full use of this.

Smart and functional!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The display itself I really do like. Google occasionally seems to have things 'out of sync' (not sure how to describe it). The Hub is perfect for my bedside table. Starts my morning routine when I stop the alarm or when I just say 'Hey Google, good morning!' Silly I guess. And certainly not a necessity but gadgets have become sort of a hobby. (I have 22 various 'smart' devices in my home) I notice better reviews for Alexa devices but I've always had android phones and I just decided to stay with Google.

Google Home Smart Device
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Can control just about all of your smart devices via this unit. Lights, appliances, Cameras, and provides decent sounding Music. Besides answering your questions, device is useful when you have multiple devices to communicate via broadcast messages, and leaving digital notes for your Gen Z household.

Good Features in a Small Package
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The update with sleep assist is worth the purchase. I was able to create a morning routine that uses the smart bulbs in my ceiling fan to slowly brighten my room to wake me up in the morning. Sound quality is good for music while I prepare for my day and doesn't take up a lot of night stand real estate.

Great tool for the home!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up. I like asking the time or getting reminded to do things. I can ask for a recipe, set one or more timers or alarms, play music, ask for store hours for specific places. I can listen to the news....all in all, a handy device!

Google Nest New Levelz
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you own a Google smart display, it's likely that you have the first-generation Nest Hub. However, there are other options available, such as the Lenovo Smart Display powered by Google Assistant or the more expensive Nest Hub Max with a built-in camera. For many smart home consumers, the smaller Nest Hub, priced at $130 and frequently on sale, is the preferred choice. But now, there's a new model to take its place. The second-generation Nest Hub is not only smarter but also cheaper at $100. With its impressive features, it's definitely worth considering. However, Google has introduced a new feature called Sleep Sensing, which may be unsettling for some users, similar to Amazon's Echo Show 10.

Another smart hub, but is it necessary?!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love smart devices. Especially, smart hubs that will allow a user to integrate items in their home/ lifestyle to be used and connected. I had an opportunity to get this Google hub during a special sales promotion and because Google is such a reputable company, with strong smart devices. I decided to give it a chance. The display is a nice size. Clear, and with a bright visible screen. This will allow the user to connect to a few devices like a sound bar, a TV, and even smart bulbs and lights within their home. However, the connectivity is not universally present, like it is with the Amazon Alexa devices. Even little things like the display of the date and time are so minuscule when compared to the size of the actual screen, that it’s even hard to see it unless you’re up close. The speaker sounds good when & if you’re using it for podcast or audiobooks. But if you’re listening to music, it could be so much better! and lacks a lot of the characteristic and stereo quality needed for today’s genres. Value wise, I think it’s a good value but Google definitely needs to upgrade the functionality and even some of the smart component connectivity through the Google app. This can allow things to be even more seamless and easier to use. Especially for first time users. Ultimately, I think this item is good! not great! but there’s plenty of potential and opportunity for the future.

Nice as a smart clock and more
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am really impressed with the Nest hub. I was looking at some other smart clocks when I found this item that is much more powerful, and comparably priced at the sale price I paid. It also integrates easily with my phone and the Google Home app. I am using it as an alarm clock mainly, but I like all of the added features of streaming music, controlling my smart lights, thermostats, and more. I also like that I can turn off the mike so I only have it on when I want to. If I want to set an alarm easily, I can flip on the speaker, and Hey Google the alarm settings, and turn the mike off again.
