Sound still isn’t very good and the sleep function is broken and will move to subscription service next year. Sorry but I’m not paying for another subscription service to monitor my sleep.

Changing your sound settings on Nest Hub may help improve your audio experience. To adjust bass and treble levels, follow the steps below:
- Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your Nest Hub.
- Open the Google Home app.
- Tap the device you want to adjust > the Settings > and then Audio > and then Equalizer.
- Adjust Bass and Treble level.

Posted .Hi dills84, we're grateful to have your feedback on Nest Hub (2nd gen), and are sorry that it doesn’t hear your voice commands in some situations. We certainly understand how frustrating it can be if something isn’t working the way it should.
Adjusting how sensitive Google Assistant responds to the hotword “Hey Google” may help you with this situation:
- Open the Google Home app.
- At the bottom, tap Home.
- Select your Nest display or the device you want to adjust.
- At the top right, tap Device settings > “Hey Google” sensitivity.
- If you don’t find “Hey Google sensitivity,” first tap Audio.
- Choose how sensitive you want Google Assistant to be when it responds to you.
- To change this setting on another device, tap Adjust more devices.
You can also retrain your Nest Hub to better recognize your voice. See the steps below on how to do this:
- On your phone or tablet, open the Google Home app
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial and then Assistant settings and then Voice Match.
- Tap Teach your Assistant your voice again and then Retrain.

From mine overall its good and has a lot of uses and for the price its good. I got it on sale for 50. I say buy it and its better then amazon brand.

You can pass not a need but it can be convenient

It’s a hassle but great for alarms that’s mostly what I use it for.
