Horrible manufactures warranty.

Take note that GOOGLE does not warrant NEST products in Puerto Rico. Manufacturing warranty does not cover ANY nest products outside of the 48 continuous states.

This was very disappointing.

I could not get either one to connect properly with my network or my phone. I tried ipad and an android too. No luck. I saw online conversations that indicated others may have had the same issues I was dealing with. I tried following all the tips including resetting several times. Still wouldn't work. I picked up the Amazon Echo Show 8 to see if it would be better. The Echo show joined my network with no issues and setup was a breeze. I returned the 2 Nest Hubs.

- Hands-free help at home. Ask Google to play music or a video, pause a song, control volume, and more.
- With just a tap – or your voice – control thousands of compatible smart devices from one central display.
- Find help with your busy home. See your calendar and create reminders and to-dos.
- Wind down to soothing sounds at bedtime and wake up gently to a Sunrise Alarm.
- You can use Quick Gestures to control many Nest Hub features. Play or pause a song or video, snooze an alarm, and stop a timer. Quick Gestures use Motion Sense to detect when your hand moves – without a camera.

A fair attempt at integrating home video cameras

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this Nest Hub Smart Display mainly to display my seven home Zmodo cameras since my other Google device (a home speaker) did not have this capability. The command "Hey Google display my (location) camera" works as expected but I would say this integration is not perfect: the video feed disconnects at times requiring that one repeat the same verbal command. I wanted this solution to avoid occupying my iPad continuously for this function. The iPad's advantage, however, is that it uses the Zmodo app directly and never suffers any disconnection.

Great unit - fumbled feature

I have mine in my kitchen, and any light changes would pause music or timers when I'm moving about.

You can turn Motion Sense on or off to start or stop detecting movement. Please Note that Motion Sense needs to be on to perform Quick Gestures and Sleep Sensing. Here’s how:
- From the bottom of your Nest Hub (2nd gen) display, swipe up.
- Tap Settings > Motion Sense.
