    Purchased this on sales for around $50. Used it for about 2 weeks and unfortunately it was not for me. Nice picture frame for Google photos - but limited functionality as no apps are available.

    Got this on a sale. Was hoping I would get camera alerts to it, but the only one that alerts is if someone rings the doorbell.

      Hi there, Mike. Thanks for choosing Nest Hub (2nd Gen). Getting alerts from your doorbell on Nest Hub is a good indication that it's working fine. Unlike the larger version of the Nest Hub Max which has built-in cameras, Nest Hub (2nd Gen) doesn't have one. You may need to purchase an extra smart camera, like the Nest Cam (Battery) or Nest Cam (Wired, 2nd Gen) to get camera alerts on Nest Hub with the different locations inside or outside your home.     Fun to use but performance is unpredictable. Audio quality is not audiophile level.

We suggest adjusting the volume of your Nest display that can improve your experience, either by voice, by touch, or from the Google Home App. You can also change the audio settings of your in the Google Home app following the steps below:
      - Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your Nest speaker.
      - Open the Google Home app.
      - Tap the device you want to adjust, select Settings, select Audio, then select Equalizer.
      - Adjust Bass and Treble level.

      Hello there, Kevin. We appreciate you sharing this with us and are sorry to learn that you're experiencing some difficulties with your Nest Hub(2nd gen). We suggest that you retrain your device to better recognize your voice as this may help with voice control. We also suggest adjusting the Hotword sensitivity as it may also be helpful with the issue. You may follow the steps below to help improve your experience:

      Retrain Voice Match:
      - On your phone or tablet, open the Google Home app.
      - At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial and then Assistant settings and then Voice Match.
      - Tap Teach your Assistant your voice again and then Retrain.

      Change Nest Hub's Hotword sensitivity:
      - Open your Google Home app.
      - Select your Nest Hub.
      - At the top right, tap the Settings (Gear) icon. - Then tap Audio.
      - Then tap "Hey Google" sensitivity and adjust the slider to make your Nest Hub more responsive to the Hotword.

    So-so. Display is difficult to read. Setting AN ALARM is troublesome. Crashes on certain music played. I much prefer alexa devices.

    If you're using it to control Smart Home accessories like lighting and stuff maybe it's useful but as far as trying to use it for Spotify or other music services you really can't control anything and it's kind of pointless to have so I returned it after one day
