    I was used Amazon Alexa for 4 years. This time just wanted to change because I updated mesh router and nest thermostat.product don't have camera, system is slow, touching display not responding good, doesn't support 3rd party company products (ring, etc...) they want to forced us to but their products only..I am really disappointed.

      Hi benny, thanks for trying out Nest Hub (2nd Gen). It's unfortunate to hear that you are experiencing performance, touch screen and 3rd-party support issues with it, and we apologize for any disappointment you may be having.

      Resetting Nest Hub may be helpful with the issues you are experiencing. A factory reset will reset your Nest Hub to its default factory settings, and erase all data. To reset, check on the back of Nest Hub, press and hold both volume buttons together for about 10 seconds. Your Nest Hub will let you know that it's resetting.

      As for the 3rd party integration issue, we recommend checking if the smart product you are using supports the Google Assistant here: https://assistant.google.com/explore

      Hi there, AustinW. We’re glad that you’re able to setup the Nest Hub (2nd gen) with ease, and we’re sorry to hear about your experience with video calls.

      Video calls are available on Google Nest Hub, Google Nest Hub (2nd gen), and Google Nest Hub Max. The device you call must have a camera. Nest Hub and Nest Hub (2nd gen) can receive video but can't send video. While Google Duo and Google Meet have combined into a new Meet app on mobile devices, tablets, and computers, Google Nest displays will continue to show the Google Duo icon. You can even make group video calls with Google Meet on Nest displays. However, if Digital Wellbeing is enabled, this feature may be restricted or blocked by Downtime, Filters or Do not disturb.

    I really like this device. I dont use it much but for a clock display but i do like it. I wish it supported my ring alarm like Alexa does. I have the ring alarm an door sensors an google says it supports some ring alarm functions like ring doorbell but it does not support the actual alarm piece.

    It had a ton of issues connecting to my internet. I hope it will be more useful down the road but right now seems redundant with the technology I already have.

    If you are looking to get in the smart home setup this product is a good starter. There are definitely better products out there though.

    No camera ..same things you can do on ur cell. And the apps aren't apps you have to go online. Only has Netflix as app and no way to install ..I returned this device still waiting on my refund. I recommend you the Amazon hub it's cheaper and has a camera.
