Hi Blueberry, thanks for giving us a review about the Nest Hub (2nd gen) and we’re sorry to hear of your issue with reminders.

You can ask your Google Nest or Home speaker or display to set, repeat back, or delete reminders. Reminders can be set for yourself or for others. They can be set for a certain time or for when someone is at a certain place. You can create and manage reminders directly on your speaker or display, or from the Google Home app on your phone. Your device will only say out loud that you have a reminder if you previously set the reminder on the speaker or display with your voice. We’d like to investigate the reasons why reminders don’t work as there could be several reasons that can cause this. We encourage you to visit us anytime here for further assistance: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp Nest

So wanted this to work seemlessly with Sonos. Add support for Sonos so you can see and select what’s playing and this would be awesome. Okay outside of that. Nice to view nest cams or doorbell

Wouldn't connect to WiFi - I sent it back

I have 45 years software development experience including very low level networking hardware/software. I spent 2 hours trying many documented fixes, but this would not connect to my WiFi. I have 2 smart TVs and 4 Chromebooks and a Echo Show 8 and a Win7 laptop and a Linux laptop and all of these connect fine. I was gifted a Chromecast 2 years ago and it took several hours to get it to connect to WiFi. The Nest Hub 7 has a touch screen - I should not have to run an app to configure it. The Echo was configured from its screen just fine - took about 30 secs to connect WiFi. There are many web reports of people who cannot connect the Nest Hub to WiFi. I am not spending hours of my life trying to get this working - I returned and ordered another Echo Show 7. I'm done with Google hardware.

Hi Raafat91, thanks for sharing your feedback with us, and we’re sorry to learn of your poor experience with the performance of your Nest Hub (2nd gen) and its Google Assistant.

Google Assistant might not respond properly when you say “Hey Google” or “Ok Google,” particularly in a noisy environment, or if it's having trouble connecting to Google. Retraining your Nest Mini, to better recognize your voice, and adjusting the Hotword sensitivity may be helpful with your situation. You may follow the steps on these help articles:
      - Check which devices are using Voice Match: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7588195
      - Adjust how sensitive Google Assistant is to “Hey Google: https://support.google.com/assistant/answer/9712065

If the issue persists, you can also try these simple steps below that may improve your experience:
      - Check your Wi-Fi network for possible congestion. Relieving some of your connected devices may help free up some bandwidth space.
      - Check the distance between the Nest Mini and your router. Ensure that it is within a line of sight from your router.
      - Check for wireless interference with other Wi-Fi hotspots or appliances and devices nearby.
      - Restart Nest Mini and router to refresh the connection.
      - Reset Nest Mini by following the steps here: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7073477

Your feedback means a lot to us. You can visit us anytime here if further assistance is required and we’d be happy to help: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp Nest

Hi momoffour, thanks for reaching out. We´re sorry to hear that the screen for your Nest Hub (2nd Gen) got cracked. We recommend contacting Best Buy for further help with the cracked screen issue.

If you’re near your Nest Hub and mobile phone, only Nest Hub should respond to "Hey Google." Both devices may wake up, but your phone should go back to sleep. To ensure this works for you, we recommend checking the following:
      - Update your Google app version. On your phone, open the Google app Search Icon.
At the bottom right of the Home screen, tap More and then Settings and then About. Look for the version number at the top. If your version is below 6.5, go to the Google app page, then tap Update.
      - Add the same account to both Nest Hub and your mobile phone. If the phone that responds isn't yours, then these steps won’t fix the issue. If you have multiple Google Accounts, add the account you used to set up Google Home to your phone.

If the you still encounter the same issue even after following these recommended steps, please consider contacting our support team and we´ll do our best to help you with your support needs here: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp Nest

the Google smart display is a must buy if you are looking to upgrade your collection and have a hub. Google assistant is built in in the best UI in the market. The only issue is spotty Internet connectivity in some cases.

Hi there MrYoBuyer, it’s great to have your feedback on Nest Hub (2nd gen). We’re glad that you find its Google Assistant the best UI in the market, and we’re sorry to hear of your issue with spotty connectivity in some cases.

A range issue or wireless interference can affect the performance of your display. Sometimes it may pass the connection test during setup, but will struggle to stay connected if it’s just a bit too far away. If you're experiencing a spotty connection or weak signal, we recommend checking your Wi-Fi network to see if your bandwidth is congested. This may happen if you have too many devices connected on the same bandwidth or if your network package is not enough to handle the data traffic on the network. Removing other connected devices to your Wi-Fi may relieve network congestion. If your doorbell is mounted too far from your Wi-Fi router, you may need to extend your Wi-Fi network’s range using an extender, boosters or additional Wi-Fi access points.

If you want to consider reaching out to us for additional support or guidance, please contact us anytime at: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp Nest
