We understand that each person will have their own preference when it comes to sound quality and volume level. If you're willing to try, and to improve your audio experience, we recommend adjusting the treble and bass settings by following the steps below:
- Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your Nest Hub.
- Open the Google Home app.
- Tap the device you want to adjust > and then Settings > and then Audio and then Equalizer.
- Adjust Bass and Treble level.

I guess my expectations were to high but I expected a smart home hub to choose function over form. However what we have here is a picture frame that chooses to function as a targeted ad first and then a less than functional smart home second. For example, I don't have to swipe away a picture frame screen to turn on a physical light switch but here I have to do at least 3 screen swipes just to get to my lights! The lack of granular settings here is mind boggling! Please fix this Google. It's pretty egregious.
