I have several appliances conencte through KASA smart outlets whichs let me turn on/off mutiple appliaces such as fans, lights, and cameras through Google's voice assistent. Its a cheap way to modernize your home for tech nerds like myself that are on a budget.

From Alexa to Google.

Able to make a mistake when pronouncing a command and Google gives much more flexibility opposed to Alexa. I would like Google to tweak there google home app to be a little bit more fluid and centralize all the devices that could connect to it. I’m tech savvy so setup was simple for me but my wife struggles.

My new alarm clock radio-Nest Hub

I own a couple of mini's which work perfectly for the spaces I use them in. When my old digital clock radio died, I decided to try out the hub. It works great with a large display I can see in the dark. The fact that I can ask it to play my internet station, set alarms and even watch Netflix, all for 100 bucks is pretty amazing. Very happy.

Perfect size, and love all the options, from daily weather & news stories to the internet. For best results, set it up with the voice and contacts for the person who will be actually using it the most. Setup takes 10-20 minutes, depending on who sets it up.

Speaker is decent. Shows me recipes and allows me to speak to go to next steps so I can cook without touching it.

I only wish that I could add a second language for when I want to play music in Spanish easily.

You can change the language of Google Assistant or add an additional language to speak to Assistant in 2 languages. If you add a second language to Google Assistant, it can recognize either of the languages you've chosen. Before you change Google Assistant's language, make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network or linked to the same account as your speaker or display. To add a second language to Assistant:
- On your mobile device, open the Google Home app .
- At the top right, tap your account and then Assistant settings and then Languages Add a language.
- Choose another language.

I immediately asked why didn't you go to best buy and spend on a quality device like the Nest Hub? Well we couldn't ever use that cheap device and my wife returned it. Since my wife's birthday was soon I decided to buy this and a Samsung Watch for her. Setup was a breeze but you have to pay attention to the simple instructions. You can sync it with multiple users. IMPORTANT: Download the proper app as instructed. The display and voice recognition is a five star rating. We have it in our kitchen and can verbally set timers, ask for recipes, weather, everything. I can't think outright what this small device can't do. It isn't too big so even small counters could fit this. Go on, you know you want it...
