I used to have an alexa set up but I switched to google. I like the slim design and the sound quality of the speaker. I like that there isn’t a camera on the front and it’s just a motion sensor.

Works as her alarm clock, calendar, weather forecaster, DJ, etc. She loves it and uses it daily. The streaming music from Spotify sounds pretty good for what this device is.

If you are in an apple ecosystem it may not be great at which point I would recommend the amazon echo.

They record my sleep so I can see if I am sleeping well, they are great alarm clocks, great to ask questions, and amazing for finding recipes.

Great Smart Home Hub

I absolutely love how the Nest hub is a one stop shop for so many daily activities. Anything from the weather to playing Spotify. I installed on in the kitchen just for convenience ! If you plan on wall mounting I'd definitely go with the wall genie

Works great but some issues with voice commands

The only issue I have had is with voice commands for turning the volume up/down. Some times it works fine and others it just doesn't do anything. Rebooting the TV and Nest resolves the issue but still an annoyance.

Display is very clear and the sound is great. Menus/apps are a little tough to navigate and you are better off just asking google to do it for you. I'll definitely be buying more to replace my bed side clock.
