If you're invested in the Google ecosystem, there's no better alternative for a nightstand companion, particularly if you get it at a discount from the regular price (which is pretty often).

The screen it’s too small to see series or tv shows, however it’s great to do others thing.

It shows beautiful clear pictures on the 7 inch display and has a nice, clear sounding speaker. It is an attractive device and looks good on the night stand. I love the sleep sensing mode. It is easy to use and I am still learning new things to do with this device. I am very pleased with this Google Nest Hub. It was on sale for such a great price, I wanted to give it a try and I am not disappointed.

Screen easy to read and dims automatically at night so not so bright when you are trying to sleep. The "wave hand" functions were an added bonus that I was not aware at time of purchase and so handy.
