It's nice to have a home assistant that actually responds to my wife's voice and not just mine. Enabling the voice activation elements for all users is not intuitive, so I think there are some Interface issues they need to work on, thus the reason for dinging the device 1 star. As for comparisons to Alexa, I've had a lot of problems with Alexa not working with all of my Wi Fi devices. The Nest Hub does not have similar problems. The visual screen that portrays actual information is a bonus. I would recommend this device over Alexa and I've had about 4 years of experience with Alexa prior to buying the Nest Hub.

Great value, easy assembly install and programmable to see my other google items. Adds extra security to my mothers home.

Great item to add to your kitchen or bedroom. Alerts when people ring the doorbell, plays music, youtube and voice activated.

Honestly a must have for any Google based smarthome. I use this mainly for my kitchen for hands free cooking and recipe assistance and it's also very helpful for setting timers and asking any questions you may have.

not bad, it lags a bit after sometime but you get what you pay for.

Great item for kitchen use Though I put it in my bedroom since they had a sleep option, and I find myself using it less Highly recommend for a tablet in the kitchen use

I'm a Google Girl! I wanted the 2nd generation of the Nest Hub. The photos are great and the sounds of music are really clear and don't forget it monitors your sleep.

works great for us, we mostly use it as a quick clock/weather/google device. nice screen, good audio, the same intuitive controls we're used to. we got it on sale and felt it was a great purchase for a great deal.

Pretty nice device for the kitchen/dinning room. Great for looking up recipes or use for asking general questions.

This smart display is a great deal at the sale price of ~$50! It syncs well with Google accounts, as well as my Apple Music and SiriusXM accounts. Videos play well, speakers sound great!

Useful smart device. Understands voice commands better than Alexa, has more information to provide, and controls smart home devices. If you use Google photos, it can display a slideshow of your best pictures.

I have one in each room of my house and it makes communication so much easier in a 5000sq ft house !!

Love that im able to use this for everyday. From my Mest Doorbell to DUO calling and even watching YouTube and casting my phone to it. Makes things much easier around the house.
