Once you hook up a few smart plugs then you can control almost anything in your house!

Will respond to simple commands. We cannot get the screen to stay on Home Control. It is not intuitive. We had a Nest thermostat installed, so we bought this. Again. Ugh. We do not like it.

It also makes a good digital photo album, and a doorbell chime/ monitor for video doorbells and smart security cameras. Materials like simple and and modern. It feels solid and has a little bit of weight to it. There is a slide switch on the top back to easily disable to microphone if that’s a concern for you. You do need a smart phone or tablet with the Google Home app downloaded to properly set it up and link it to your Google account, but it works very well on both iPhone/iPad and android.

I don't use the fancy features of the actual display much but we do ask it a million questions and seem to be very dependant on it!
