    I bought this as a second display for the upstairs family room. We already had the hub which is our main display and gets the most use. Since we don't have a real doorbell for the house, we purchased two Google doorbells. To get the audio notifications, you have to have one of these displays or a Google speaker. Why buy just the speaker when for a few bucks more you can have the display. Bought this one because it's hard to hear the hub downstairs when someone rings the door bell and it will display the doorbell video stream.

    Really liked this simple and effective hub. Fairly painless setup with Google Home app. Integrates with Netflix, Youtube, spotify, Pandora, and others.

    It is the perfect alarm clock for anyone who has difficulty waking up. I like that I can have family pictures showing on it on slideshow format and also quickly get local weather and news in the morning ad I get ready for work. I have had no problems keeping it online or communicating with via my voice or with my phone. The sound fir ludicrous isn’t great but it isn’t horrible either.

    Nobody needs the Nest Hub, but its great to have. Its great for pulling up recipies in the kitchen and quick youtube how to's.

    Works great as a hub for our Nest security cameras, as well as for a music player and control for smart plugs. I just wish that Google would make a deal with Tidal in order to natively support Tidal via voice command.
