Restarting your Nest display can improve its performance. Also, a range issue or wireless interference can affect the performance of your display. Sometimes it can pass the connection test during setup, but will struggle to stay connected if it’s just a bit too far away from your router. If you're experiencing a spotty connection or weak signal, we recommend checking your Wi-Fi network to see if your bandwidth is congested, which happens if you have too many devices connected on the same bandwidth or if your network package is not enough to handle the data traffic on the network. Removing other connected devices to your Wi-Fi may relieve network congestion. If your display is located too far from your Wi-Fi router, you may need to extend your Wi-Fi network’s range using boosters or additional Wi-Fi access points.

I never tried the Show 8 but my issues with that product wouldn’t be fixed with that model. The Nest Hub handles showcasing pictures much better, mainly with portrait pictures. It splits the screen and uses two portrait pictures instead of filling with a blurred background with one picture. It also was way better for playing Spotify. Not only did it have a better interface to select playlists, the Echo Show kept crashing Spotify mid-song.

Same but with sleep tracking
