This is my first smart device in my new home. Just got it cause it was cheap and wow was that the right decision. Best feature is adding a slideshow of my pictures with people I invite to the shared album. So if you are thinking about a smart picture frame to share with family and friends like a Nixplay, don’t. Just get this

I was initially abrasive to the idea of having yet another smart device that would take up the kitchen counter. What I didn't expect was ditching the alexa and siri hardware altogether. Google's voice controls are head and shoulders above the competition, with visuals laid out in a logical fashion. Even after being surprised, I don't think I would have had it in me to purchase this at full retail ($100), but for $50 it made the value proposition easier to stomach.

Makes looking up recipes a breeze, playing audio and videos are great with the gesture controls so you aren't touching the screen. Speaker could have more base but it is expected coming from a small device. Sounds great overall and works great with all my home security cameras

Its voice activated so it works extremely well for her. She can just say the command and it works flawlessly. I had to set it up for her but now.... she is learning more function day by day. I highly recommend this to anyone.

If you haven't tried yet, performing a data reset on Nest Hub may be helpful in fixing the issues you shared with us. Keep in mind that resetting will erase all data and that you may need to set it up again. To reset, check on the back of Nest Hub, press and hold both volume buttons together for about 10 seconds. Your Nest Hub will let you know that it's resetting.

I can't believe how much I actually use it. I have this in the kitchen and I am getting one for my room right now. It's a great device at a good price. Just having pictures from my Google photos makes the home more comfortable and welcoming. It's just the perfect smart home piece.
