Specially with having a toddler! its so convenient!! I have mine in my kitchen and I play shows for my toddler while cooking or we'll call grandma on video! listen to music or even look up recipe's. You can use it for anything! If I could, I would have one in every room.

I already had a nest hub max in my kitchen, so I thought I would get a mini version of that for our master bedroom. I also have a nest audio speaker as well.

Great Hardware; Subpar Software

Software can use a lot of work. Google has been neglecting their Home ecosystem for many years. Some software issues: - does not consistently respond the same commands - had to attempt to re-add accessories to Google Home

This Hub does everything...almost.

I like how the price of the 2nd Gen Hub keeps coming down with the Nest Hub Max available, currently $59.99 at the time of this review. We enjoy using it for the digital photo frame, home control of thermostats and lights, viewing Nest Cam video in other rooms, and checking the weather. We don't use the music function much, but it is quite nice when we do choose it. I don't like that you cannot arm and disarm the Nest Secure from the hub. Other than that, it should do everything thing else that a person with a Nest ecosystem would expect it to do.
