A range issue or wireless interference can cause your Google Nest devices to disconnect from your Wi-Fi. Try moving your Nest display a bit closer to your router. Sometimes it may pass the connection test during setup, but will struggle to stay connected if it’s just a bit too far away. You may also check for objects such as mirrors and refrigerators between the Nest Hub and your router as these items could block the connection. But we’re sorry to hear that you bought the wrong model. The Nest Hub (2nd gen) is the updated version of the Nest Hub. And like its previous version, it has no Nest Cam built-in, though we added some features.
