I could not get either one to connect properly with my network or my phone. I tried ipad and an android too. No luck. I saw online conversations that indicated others may have had the same issues I was dealing with. I tried following all the tips including resetting several times. Still wouldn't work. I picked up the Amazon Echo Show 8 to see if it would be better. The Echo show joined my network with no issues and setup was a breeze. I returned the 2 Nest Hubs.

Unlike the larger version of the Nest Hub Max which has built-in cameras, Nest Hub (2nd Gen) doesn't have one. You may need to purchase an extra smart camera, like the Nest Cam (Battery) or Nest Cam (Wired, 2nd Gen) to get camera alerts on Nest Hub with the different locations inside or outside your home.
